Chapter 395 Battle Royale (2)



"Let the Battle Royale begin!" The mc said from the middle of the arena.

The moment that the battle began, the four muscular young men all remained rooted on the spot. But still, they were all eyeing Jack. It was an obvious sign that they had come to an agreement that they had to eliminate Jack from the arena first, before competing against each other.

Jack on the other hand did not react. Still, he had focused his gaze on the crowd that was here. Currently, the number of spectators that had arrived here was up to 3,000.

And of course, all of them had been invited over. Still, at least each and every one of them possessed something that they could brag about in their hometowns. But, compared to the group that was participating in the competition, they were still far off.

During the time that Jack was doing his investigation, he had already found several clues, and right now, he was focusing his gaze on Celine. In fact, he was focusing around Celine.

Completely ignoring those that were around him, Jack continued trying to make sure that what he had found out was true. And if that was the case, he wasn't going to care about anything and make a move.

"Hey kid, why don't you just decide to give up? We don't want to beat you up so thoroughly that even your parents will fail to recognize you." Anderson said as he looked at Jack.

Jack on the other hand didn't even listen to what he was saying. Instead, he focused on what he deemed to be important.

When Anderson realized that Jack had completely ignored him, he became furious. Even though he did not have any grudge against Jack, he had just been trying to tell him so that they would not beat him up for nothing.

It was true that he had been given the task of competing for Atati, but that didn't mean that he was willing to make enemies with just anyone. He himself was not someone with great status back at his home country.

It was just that, he was amongst the best fighters that the group from Atati had found. Even though he was going to be paid well after he won, those youths were going to throw him to the side if he did not agree to work as their bodyguards.



Since that was the case, if he created an enemy like Jack, whom he didn't even know his background, he might end up suffering later on after he was abandoned by the youngsters.

But still, he was a proud person. He was already offering Jack a way out, but it seemed that he was not willing to take it. And since that was the case, Anderson hoped that Jack would not blame him. After all, this was the only result that was waiting for him if he did not give up.

"Why are you talking nonsense with him? They told us to beat him up so that we can continue showing our dominance. Even though it is true that it is good if he decides to give up as that will show that they are cowards, but it is way better if we beat him up until he is completely helpless." Titus, the guy from Toloa said as he sneered at Jack.

"I heard that you guys are some of the best that have been selected to come over and fight. Since that is the case, then let me help you eliminating the useless one from the arena, after that, the four of us can compete and see who is stronger than the other." Matthias said as he approached Jack.

The crowd had already begun booing at Jack. At the same time, they felt completely helpless considering the fact that, Jack who was possessing such a slim figure, had been asked to represent them.

Most of them felt that if they had been selected to represent Azima, then, they would have definitely been way better than the guy with the mask on his face.

"Forgive me for sending you out of the arena roughly. But anyway, it is not like someone is going to care about you after this. You have a mask on your face, concealing your appearance anyway." Matthias said as he threw a punch towards Jack's face.

The punch contained immense force, that it even made a slight howling sound in the wind. It was obvious that if this punch landed on an ordinary person, that person might be knocked out immediately.

As the punch approached him, Jack frowned behind the mask. The next moment, he raised his left hand without looking, and accurately grasped the fist in his palm.

Then, he pulled the dumbfounded Matthias towards him, before twisting his hand, dislocating it. After that, using his palm, he knocked Matthias on the back of his neck, knocking him out.

All of this happened so fast that even Matthias himself did not have the time to scream from the pain that came with the dislocation of his hand. Additionally, Jack didn't focus on him at all.

Instead, currently, he had realized that there was someone that was looking at him intently. Had it been before he had become a superhuman, he would have not noticed.

But, it was completely different now. Now, he realized that amongst the group of youths that came from Zembe, there was a youth that was looking at him intently.

Had it been just a gaze of any girl, the ones that he had gotten used to, then, Jack would have completely ignored it. But it was completely different as he received the gaze of this girl.

Even though it was filled with admiration, there was also greed, and scheming. This was something that was never supposed to happen even before he showed off his strength.

The lady that had been staring at him began ever since he stepped on the arena. And even after he had dealt with Matthias, the excitement in her eyes only increased.

On the other hand, the remaining three looked at Jack with widened eyes, before shifting their gazes towards Matthias who had already fainted. They could not understand what was going on anymore.

This was not the first time that they had met, as they had sparred before they came to the arena. So, they all knew about Matthias's capabilities. But now, he had been knocked out so easily using one hand, without even having a chance of resisting.

They were getting skeptical. And they were not the only ones as currently, the stadium of the Generous fighter arena was completely silent as nobody could comprehend what had just happened.

"Yes! That is just the beginning!" Luther shouted from the spectators' zone.

It was only after he said those words that the crowd finally came out of their stupor. They looked at Jack who was wearing a silver mask on his face, trying to comprehend and understand what had just happened.

Nonetheless, Jack did not care about them. Instead, he had already understood something. So, he didn't see the need to continue staying here. The clue that he was looking for had already been found, so, it was time for him to go and continue with another kind of investigation, to prove that what he was speculating about was right.

He turned around and looked at the remaining three. And the moment that they felt Jack's gaze on them, they felt their bodies shuddering, while instinctively, they took a step or two backwards.

It was only for a moment that they realized that they had completely lost their composures. Anderson was feeling humiliated. After all, he had always been proud, claiming to be the best fighter of his generation. But now, he had just been intimidated by a single gaze from someone.

Currently, even though he didn't want to admit it, he knew that he was definitely no match for Jack. After all, Jack had been able to deal with Matthias, who was almost at the same level as him so easily. That was not the way that he himself was capable of dealing with Matthias.

He and Matthias fought, they would have to exchange several moves before he would be able to defeat him.

And knowing that he was definitely not Jack's match, he looked at those around him and said, "Let's deal with him together. I don't believe that he can deal with us simultaneously."

After they heard Anderson's words, the other two also reacted. So, without saying anything, they all rushed towards Jack, ready to beat him up together. They knew that even if they didn't want to cooperate, then, that implied that they would not be able to win.

Jack did not have much reaction to being besieged by three people. To him, the movements of the three people in front of him were very slow. So, as a punch headed towards him, he simply shifted his body to the side, completely evading it.

As for the kick that was heading towards his chest, he only raised his left hand, grasping the ankle, before flipping it in the air.

Bachan who had just been kicking towards Jack's chest was forced to make a double flip in the air, before landing heavily onto the ground, as he had not been prepared for such rapid spinning in the air.

As for Anderson, this guy had been coming over, trying to give him a spear. But, Jack had evaded it completely during the time that he was evading Titus's punch.

The hearts of the spectating in crowd were in their throats as they watched as the fight progressed. Well, it was as if a group of kids was attacking an adult...
