After the event of transformation of the tower, everything was back to normal in Eternal City.
But the talk about the tower and its transformation will not die down anytime soon. among the cultivators, the transformation of the tower remained a hot topic of discussion. People were still discussing it, analyzing what could have caused such a transformation and what kind of power it possessed now. They were all eager to explore the mysteries of the tower.
Arnoux and his group were already inside the dungeon. Shortly after the Dungeon's transformation, they entered the dungeon.
It's not like their hard work didn't pay off, the cultivation base of the Arnoux group had significantly improved.
Arnoux himself had reached the peak of the seventh-stage Building Base Realm, while Alix had advanced to the seventh-stage Building Base Realm. Eryx and Nox had both reached the sixth-stage Building Base Realm, and their overall strength had increased tremendously.
Alix lives up to his name, as a genius that surpassed the geniuses of the capital city. His rise even makes everyone in the group excluding Arnoux envy him.
Nox will always bother Alix, asking how he raised his cultivation so quickly. Alix on the other hand, doesn't have any idea how. And he can only endure Nox's annoyance.
They also gained new insights into the cultivation path, and got new techniques and skills that made them even more formidable.
They didn't make new techniques, but it comes from Alix. What he didn't know, it comes from his bloodline. As his bloodline was the closest to their ancestor.
The technique he learned was only in the entry stage for now. But if he keeps on practicing it he will eventually master it in no time. Alix then tried teaching the technique to the rest, and it was a success, they all managed to learn at least one or two techniques.
Example for one of the techniques he learn called,
"Monkey Palm Strike: A powerful palm strike technique that mimics the movements of a monkey, delivering a devastating blow to the opponent, damaging its inside."
Furthermore, their reputation in the Eternal City had grown, and they were now recognized as one of the most powerful and influential groups in the city. Many young cultivators looked up to them and aspired to join their ranks.
But despite their newfound success, Arnoux and his group remained humble and grounded. They knew that there was still much to learn and explore in the cultivation world, and they were determined to continue their journey towards greater strength and enlightenment.
Because of the growing popularity of the Eternal City, almost all residents of the nearby towns, decided to reside in the city. Even the influential forces of Waydale City left the city and come to Eternal City.
However, the departure of the influential forces of Waydale City proved to be a big blow to the city. Waydale City was known for its two powerful forces, and the city lord, Xenos, who had maintained law and order in the city for years. But after the three forces didn't come back from their expedition, the city became like a ghost city compared to what it used to be. Criminals ran rampant, and the streets were no longer safe.
The disappearance of the three forces, especially Xenos left a power vacuum that led to chaos and disorder. The criminals took advantage of this and seized control of the city, spreading terror and violence wherever they went.
The people of Waydale City were desperate for help, but there was no one to turn to. The other cities were too far away, and the nearby towns can't do anything against the powerful criminals that sprouted out of nowhere, they had no one powerful enough to stand up to the criminals.

Meanwhile, inside the dungeon, Arnoux and his group were facing a group of goblin riders. The goblin riders were known for their strength and speed, making them difficult opponents to deal with.
But because they were fighting these goblin riders all day, they were already familiar with the fighting style of the hobgoblin/goblin riders. So, it was not a problem for Arnoux's group to fight and kill the goblin on their own.
"Monkey Palm Strike."
Nox used his newly learned technique, the next moment, he strike the hobgoblin with his palm rapidly, its so fast that the hobgoblin and the wolf its riding couldn't react.
Their inside was in a mash, they died immediately. Nox can't help but smile widely.
Even though they were only Building Base practitioners, they can use a technique, because it comes from thier bloodlines.
"Brother Alix, the cultivation you thought us is really good. It's tailored for us, it's just so perfect to use." Nox placed his one arm over his shoulders, acting like they were friends of the same age.
"Uncle Nox, stop acting like that, you're literally the same age as my father." Alix was speechless and embarrass by Nox's behavior.
"'Sigh' Kiddo you should accustom yourself to someone as old or older than your father calling you their brothers or seeing you as equal footings. You are as strong as your father, and probably gonna surpassed him in the future. In this world, age is not the bases to earn everyone's respect. But your cultivation, understood?... Brother Alix." He then laughed out loud.
Alix was getting immersed in the advice of Nox, which was a rare sight to see. But his annoying laugh shattered it all. But he did get what Nox was trying to say.

As they were looting the bodies of the goblin riders, Arnoux approached his son and Nox with a warm smile on his face.

Nox beamed with pride as he received praise from his captain. "Thank you, captain. I owe it all to Brother Alix's teachings."
Arnoux can only shake his head, seeing he was still teasing Alix.
