Supporting High School Student buys Souvenirs

“So, we looked like that from the audience seats huh.”

“Yeah～. But I’m getting embarrassed now just thinking that we were seen like that…..”

At the penguin show in the afternoon, there seem to be other people who came using the couple-ticket so they are participating in the show right now.

We were also asked ‘Would you two like to join in?’ but we turned it down since we already spent all our energy with the parfait at lunch. Also, I don’t feel like doing that again.

………so, the new couple-ticket pair is not like us who only came here as friends, they are a real couple so things are crazy from beginning to end.

Where did you meet? What do you two like about each other? They answered such questions so naturally. Is this the confidence of college students? Or is it a difference between us and Riajuu?

Either way, even with our simplified version in the morning, it still made a scene where people might want to start vomiting sugar.

“It’s about time, why don’t we go take a look at the souvenir?”

“I want to buy a stuffed animal! The fluffy huggable one!”

“That would be expensive right?”

When I said that, Suzuka tapped her bag and replied.

“It’s ok! I brought a lot of money today just for this! If that’s not enough then I can just use my card too!”

“I, I see. I don’t have any stuffed animals at home you see…..Well, I might have some at my parents’ house but at least there’s none in my room right now.”

I think there were a lot of those in my little sister’s room but I don’t really remember since I rarely enter her room. Or maybe I wasn’t allowed in her room?

Even though she always gets angry at me when I enter her room, she always visits my room for some reason though…..

“Nn, then let’s pick some shall we.”

The souvenir corner sells various items such as sweets like cookies and rice crackers. They also sell plushies and keychains that Suzuka wants to buy.

Some of these oversized stuffed animals cost more than 20,000 yen. The ones that Suzuka wants are those that fit into her arms, the type that you can hold to your chest. They cost about 10,000 yen each.

This might be due to the shows we saw but she is now hesitating whether to buy a penguin one or the dolphin one so she has been hugging each of them to see how they felt.

“Nee! Which one do you think is better～?”

“Nn? Well, this dolphin gives a better feeling but this turtle is nice too…..”

“Turtle? It’s, It’s true……! To think that there would be a surprise find here…….”

“But since you’d want to hold it when you go to sleep, a penguin might be nice you know……”

‘What should I do’………….while saying that, Suzuka continues to hesitate over which to buy. To be honest, I feel that the dolphin one offers the greatest value in terms of its size.

“Unnnn…….wait, eh? Seiya-kun, what are you doing?”

“When you touch it you start to get attached right, I get the feeling that I should buy one you see.”

“I see, penguin. So it’s Pen-chan right!”

What I am holding right now is the 10,000 yen penguin plush. When I touched it, I felt like I have to buy one.

Among all the stuffed animals here, this penguin plush looked comfortable enough even as a pillow and it felt nice to the touch too. I think that I can use it even in summer.

“Alright, I think I will go with this one. Also…..since we’re already here, I guess I will buy the keychain too huh?”

“That’s nice. Then I think I will get the dolphin! We will have Kuu-chan the penguin and Pen-chan the Penguin right!”

“I see……I will buy some sweets but I don’t think I will give it to them though.”

If I hand out the sweets I buy here then I will be exposed. I know that at the very least they will get suspicious. That’s why I absolutely can’t give them any.

If I accidentally gave some to Eihashi-san then she would definitely find out after all…….Well, she was pretty much convinced already though.

“Then I will go pay for mine alright.”

“Yeah. wait for me at the cashier ok!”

I headed to the cashier. Midway, I also threw the keychain into my basket. the total price should be around 15,000 yen which got rolled down to 14,000 yen since I didn’t use cash.

After that, Suzuka also finished her payment. Her bag was so big that I’m glad we are taking a bus back today. The total prize for that must be over 20,000 yen huh?

“Thanks for the wait! Ahh, I bought a lot! They are mostly sweets but since I want to keep the cans I bought pretty much all of them～”

“I see. You can only get them here after all. You can use those for decoration right. Here, I will help you carry it.”

“Nn? What’s this～?”

Suzuka picked up the dolphin keychain I bought.

“I have to buy the penguin keychain too because they came in a set. You can have one you know?”

Hearing that, Suzuka shyly asked.

“……I can?”

“Yeah. Even though it was the ticket you won, you still take me here after all. At least let me give you this much. You can always carry a keychain with you so it acts like a commemorative gift right?”

“…….right. Thank you, Seiya-kun!”

Suzuka immediately attaches the keychain to her bag.

Since she already did that, I also decided to attach mine to my smartphone.

“Yeah, take good care of it alright.”
