“I’m reaally sorry.”
After school, I went to a cafe on Akira’s treat.
I like sweet things so I’m ordinarily happy.
“It’s fine really, it’s just a lie in a punishment game. Ah, next is this extra-large parfait then~ ”
He doesn’t really have to worry about it but, well the person in question insists on treating me so I thought I should indulge him.
I had ordered three extra-large parfaits, two crepes, and four cups of cocoa at this point in time.
“But you know……”
“You don’t have to worry about it. In fact, most normal guys would usually cry in happiness right? Even if it’s a lie, dating that Tachibana for one month is unbelievable.”
“I see… But what will you do? You said falsely confessing is a discourtesy against the other party right?”
“Nnー, for now I’ll go out with her. There’s also the matter of pride, you see. Being refused by an asocial person like me will make them look pitiful. And didn’t you say you wanted to know what it was like to be her? I’m not particularly interested in this, to say OK directly will seem rude but, the other side also falsely confesses so I guess we’re even then.”
“I see…..Thanks”
“Un, leaving that aside won’t you eat some parfait? Do you want me to give you a mouthful? Just a mouthful okay?”
“Really? Thank you…You really are a guy person………….wait isn’t this my money in the first placeeee? Furthermore you bought a lot…..Just a mouthful…you cheapskate!”
“What a rude person. I’m not giving you another bite.”
“Whyy!”
In the end I ended up devouring the parfait and went home just like that.
By the way I paid half of the bills. It’s laughable…

The next day
“Kiyama…after school can I meet you in the gymnasium for a little while?”
“Un…”
After school
“Sorry for going through all this trouble…”
“That’s okay, but can you tell me what you want quickly? I have a little business to do today.”
I just remembered earlier that it was the release date of a new issue of my favorite manga series. I’ll probably just say OK anyways, so I’d like this to be as fast as possible.
“Well, that…I..,I like you, Kiyama. Umm… would you go out with me?”
“Okay. I’ll be in your care from now on. Well then.”
For the time being I answered and walked away.
“Eh? Wait a minute?”
“?”
I was called out so I turned around right away.
“Etto, Isn’t this weird? Isn’t this too fast?”
“?…I replied too quickly? Should I have acted more surprised, or more lost in thought? But I already had an idea of what you wanted in the first place…”
“No, that’s not it, it’s the fact that you turned around so quickly. Shouldn’t we have talked a bit more about it?”
Even though this is just a false confession, what a selfish fellow……
Well, I guess that’s a fair argument though…who on earth would just answer and leave even though he doesn’t have any important things to do.
“No, I have some other things I’ve got to attend to, you see. There’s nothing that we particularly have to discuss, so I thought why not?”
We’re going to be together for a month whether we like it or not anyways. We’ll be together regardless of our attitude.
“Ah, Ahh I see…..Then see you tomorrow then.”
“Un”
So now that that’s done with, let’s go home. But then I suddenly remembered that I had forgotten something. Shit! I rushed to the classroom to go retrive it.
After that, I retrieved the things I’ve forgotten, left the entrance, walked at the edge of the road, and I saw Tachibana on the way. She is still in that place…doesn’t she walk a little too slow?
This has nothing to do with me but I’m a pretty fast walker so when I pace myself with people who walk slowly, my body feels pretty irritated, It’s probably impossible for us to go home together.
I looked at the ground unintentionally and there I saw the baseball club practicing their batting.
Ka-ching!

It was a pretty good hit. It keeps on extending. This way, or rather than this way, it’s flying over to somewhere a little further away from here.
“……………..Tachibanaa!!!!”
I might have failed in calling out her name. She looked at me in surprise and couldn’t move. I run with all the power I have.

I throw my body at Tachibana.
(Boom!)
An unpleasant voice resounded in my head. It hurts so much. It looks like I didn’t manage to avoid it. It felt like my consciousness was fading. At this point, the school infirmary, no I’ll probably go straight to the hospital right…….?
Even though I was looking forward to the new publication…………..new publication?…..
Yes, that’s right, a new publication. I don’t have the time to faint here. My consciousness that was about to fade was revived and I somehow managed to stay on my feet and not fall.
“Blood, there’s blood on you…….are you okay..?”
Tachibana’s voice called.
I look at Tachibana, Ah, the shock of ramming against Tachibana makes me fall at my backside. If I look at it more closely, the skin on my feet was slightly chafed but not by much.
This is bad. I might get beaten up by that muscle captain at this rate.
“Ah…wa, This is my fault…I’m sorry”
“Please forgive me!”
I think she just said something but it doesn’t matter. Rather than listening to Tachibana, I value my well-being much more.
“I’m sorry. For suddenly ramming my body against you. Do you have any injuries? If possible, I’d like for this matter to be kept a secret…?”
“Eh?Eh, yes it’s fine but…. Rather than that, are you okay?”
“Thank you very much! Of course I’m fine!”
“But, but there’s blood…..”
Blood? I touched the spot where the ball hit me. Blood was really dripping. This is bad. I should go to-

That’s right, there was the new publication. Now that I have your forgiveness, I’ll go home now.
“There’s no pain anyways, my consciousness is as clear as day too so it’s fine. Ah, and, I’m sorry for bothering you but can you return that ball to the baseball club?”
“Eh? Eh, eh….U, Un…”
I lost quite a bit of time. A lot of things happened today that I’m tired so let’s read the new publication and sleep.
After that I ran to the regular bookstore I frequently used.
When I got home, the bleeding was easily stopped and treated. After reading the new publication, I had my dinner and went to sleep immediately right after.
