Volume 1 - CH 54

Kouyou’s surprise present session has ended along with the school cultural festival without incident.

The sun has started to go down, and the dark sky is a sign of the starting of the closing party.

I have a promise to dance with Kouyou.

After I talked with my friends, I went to the place where we are supposed to meet.

“Sorry for being late, Kouyou.”

“Uun….don’t worry about it. More importantly, let’s hurry? It’s about to start soon.”

While holding hands, we went off to the middle where there is a campfire.

“Well then, everyone! Thanks for your hard work in the school cultural festivalー! The last festival will be this closing party! Invite the person you like, and dance freely to your heart’s content!”

The music starts to play. And we danced in accordingly to that as we smile.

“Kouyou!”

“Nn?”

“Today was extremely fun! Uun, not just today. When I’m with Kouyou, I’m always having fun! It will probably be like that from now on too! Thank you! And, please take care of me!”

“Okay, okay. Me too.”

There was a lot of things that happened in the school cultural festival.

I also met Kouyou’s family.

And I also saw Kouyou wearing a butler outfit after cutting his hair and wearing contacts.

When I saw the girls going “Kya, kya!” when they saw that, I felt jealous.

I gave him a lap-pillow. His sleeping face was really cute at that time.

We also ate like a couple, and walked around the school festival.

I stayed at his house! And we even shared the same bed.

Rumi-chan was cool in the beauty contest.

In the muscle championship too, I don’t really understand but it was somewhat amazing.

In the Tenkaichi Budokai, Manamoto gave his best.

I was very scared when Sakai kidnapped me.

Kouyou came to save me, and fought off Sakai. I was so happy that my tears overflowed.

I slightly remembered it. But Kouyou probably gave me a lap pillow.

Everyone stayed in my house. But they immediately went to sleep though.

He also ate my lunch-box(bentou) happily.

As the surprise, he got his parents to make the food, I ate a lot. Moreover, it’s free of charge!

I also received a present.

The design was a cute handkerchief. It seems like a waste to use it though, when my old one became worn-out I usually bought a new one. But, he’s so thoughtful and kind.

The ring. The same design but with different color. And even our names were engraved in it. It was the first matching present I got from Kouyou. I was so happy.

The necklace. I can’t wear it to school but I brought it with me everyday, and I always wore it during holidays! Just now when I wore I also felt my heart racing.

And then today,

Finally we arrived at our trip destination! And the promise to kiss!

Happiness filled my body from head to toe.

And like that, the closing party ended and the school festival closes its curtains.

“Surprisingly, cleaning the aftermath of the school festival is tiring~”

Kouyou suddenly started talking while we were taking care of the aftermath.

“Ahー, that’s true.”

She agreed with me.

“The more you prepare for cleaning up, the more tedious it becomes, and the more you regret your efforts.”

“Ahー, I understand that feelingー.  Now that you say it, it kinda feel regretful. It wasn’t as if I want fun things to never happened in the first place though.”

“UnUn.”

“Ahー,  you might be right……..”

“The magic of the cultural festival or something?”

“It didn’t go that well though.”

“Cruel!”

It’s true that it’s kind of dull after the festival. What’s the definite cause for this? Well even if you ask me, it’s just languid.

“Well, even so! They will announce the sales soon!? We sold 1.5 times more than the winner of the previous year! We will definitely win this!”

“Un! That’s right! I’m looking forward to the trip! Hey! Kouyou?”

“……………..Nn.”

Ufufufufu. I can kiss himー! And from Kouyou!

“Oh, it’s about time soon!”

“Okay.”

“Un!”

We went to the gymnasium with all the members of our class.

“Ehhー, we will then announce the sales now. To save time, I would like to announce the winning class only, as everyone will receive a printout with details later. The prize is a 3-day/2-night trip for the whole class! First up, the freshmen.”

The freshman’s class who won shouted loudly, but I honestly didn’t register their voice as my heart was beating so badly.

Our class was the fourth one.

“Ehー, the winner is ーーー”

ーーDoki doki, doki doki…………..

“ーーーCongratulations! The 7th class!”
