It’s been a week since I started my hellish training. There were only three days left until the ball game!
“As if I’ll let you!”
Akita stands in front of me.
I feint left and right, turning and dodging while keeping the ball outside.
“Yosh!”
“Tsu! Damn it!”
I dribbled just like that and brought it towards the goal.
“I’ll defend this place to the death!”
“I’ll make sure of it!”
Akira was in the goal.
I kick the ball up to the top left of the goal.
“I got it!”
Akira went to get the ball.
“You’re too careless!”
“Tsu! What!”
The ball curved wide before entering the goal.
It went straight into the bottom right corner of the goal as if it had been sucked in.
“Beep, beep, beep! Goal! Kouyou wins!”
“Yayー!”
“As expected of Kouyou! So cool!”
Koyomi hugged me as she said that and I received her embrace gently.
“You really became good at this!”
“It’s all thanks to you. Thank you.”
As I said that I was patting Koyomi’s head as she nodded happily.
At first, the training session seemed to be going nowhere, but Momiji was a genius. Thanks to everyone’s hellish coaching, I’ve improved to the point where I’m now in the “good” category. Well, that’s only for soccer.”Phew~! Both of you are so steamy, hugging each other at a place like this!”
“Mou! Stop it Akira!”
“She became embarassed……..but Kouyou have become softer to Koyomi tooー”

It’s true that there has been no progress in their relationship since that festival. If you ask me, not really, but my resistance to Koyomi sure has gone down quite a bit.

After school, Koyomi and I decided to go into a nearby shopping mall. We entered the mall, and had just decided the movie that we would watch.
Come to think of it……………This is something I always saw in a commercial………..
Well, it probably won’t fit Koyomi’s interest so I should probably come here myself next time.
“Eh, this was the movie that I wanted to watch…….”

The movie that I wanted to watch was the live-action adaptation of a game.
The title is “Katy’s Curious Voyage Ship Killing”
It’s an action comedy movie with gags and tears.
“Does Koyomi like these kind of things?”
The movie she pointed to was “1000 Petals”, a touching and heart-warming romantic movie.
“Ahー, I wanted to see that too but……..”
“Then…”
“That’s not it! Kouyou likes game right? I saw you playing this game, so I tried it too and got hooked. ………… So I’ve been wanting to watch this for a long time! I’ve been wanting to watch this for a long time, and since Kouyou seems to be interested in it, I thought we could watch it together anyways”

And so the both of us chose the time that matched our schedules and went to the seats that were empty.

I went to the stall myself.

Koyomi asked for a orange juice, I went for a coke, and I bought some salted popcorn.
I really made her wait quite a while. Apparently it was pretty busy right now, so it took quite a while.
I think Koyomi might be mad at me. …………
I took the drinks I got from the waitress and went back to Koyomi. When I saw Koyomi, my feet stopped for a moment.
Uwahh………………She’s being picked on. …………
It’s a pain in the ……… ass. What is this annoying development?
“No, I’m waiting for someone…………”
“Isn’t it fine! I’ve been looking since just now, but nobody is coming.”
“No, the stall…….”
“It’s weird to be in the stall for this long right~. That’s a lie right? We’re just going to play for a while. We won’t get out from the shopping mall! Let’s go!”

He’s wearing the same uniform as us. I wondered if he was in the same grade.
His hair was neatly set, and he had a distinctly intellectual look about him.
He’s about as tall as Akira, and he’s glaring at the pick-up artist from above.
I don’t know, but he seems to be protecting Koyomi.
If I leave now, I’ll just confuse him, so I’ll just wait here and see what happens.
“What do you want bastard?”
“I told you right? This girl is my girlfriend. I should be asking what you were doing instead.”
“Ha, Haah?”
“Why……….do you grab someone else’s girlfriend’s arm like that……let go.”
The boy forcefully grabbed the guy’s hand off.

He seems like he was grabbing it with quite the force.

When the boy let go of his hands, the other guy went away.
For the time being there were no problems. I guess I’ll go thank him…..
I rushed over to Koyomi.
“Ah, I’m sorry regarding my companion………”
“Ah, Kouyou!”
“Nn? Aah……..so it’s Kouyou-kun…….”
“Eh? How do you know me?”
“After all, your girlfriend is Tachibana-san right? Both of you are famous within the school, and the fact that you were dating her makes you very popular too.”

“I’m at the same school as you guys. I’ve heard your name a million times. And although you don’t seem to know it, you were somewhat famous before you started dating, you know?”

“The Festival…………… aside from Akita-kun, we were warned that there was a guy in Class 4 who was very fast, but he unexpectedly took a day off on the day of the festival. That’s why he’s famous. And that’s not all. He was late to school every day. He doesn’t do his homework and falls asleep in class. And yet, he’s the guy whose top 30 tests are always posted on the board. how could you be so indifferent towards yourself? There are a lot of factors that can make you pretty famous.”

It’s true that becoming famous thanks to that might be normal when I heard his explanations.
“Aah, I’m sorry. It’s quite late but my name is Iseda Tenya. From the 7th class. Nice to meet you?”
Then he holds out his hand to me. I take it and we shake hands.
“Aaah, nice to meet you……..”
“Well then, I’m sorry for interfering with your date, I’ll go now.”

“Thank you! Bye-bye.”
“Aah, I’ll be excusing myself now.”
And he walked away.
But as he walked past me, he came strangely close, and stopped for a moment when his face was right next to my ear.
“Koyomi is mine………..” (TLN: Why, just why do you have to add another jerk in progress?)
“Tsu……………!”
He just said that and walked away.
I somehow lost the chance to speak and could only watch the back of …… Iseda as he left. …………
