Wearing a black jacket and black jeans pant, he exited the building.

A gust of wind passed by his cheeks, the blazing sun shone above the sky, the hustling and bustling of people in the street, and sounds of chiles passing by. Roel passed by the everyday lives of the people.

He arrived at the bridge. The bridge was pretty high and the water below flowed rapidly without thinking of stopping.

A girl sat on the edge of the bridge swaying her feet in the air. She was pouting while murmuring something to herself.

Her clothes were pretty ordinary. She was wearing a blue skirt with a white t-shit. Her hair was left open that floated with the air.

Roel's eyes fell on her, but he ignored her since he didn't have time for her. He pretty much passed by her. Just as he moved a little further away, an angry voice sounded from behind.

"Hey, you!"

Roel didn't stop.

"Hey, you black jacket!"

Her voice became louder. As the word black jacket flung on Roel, he stopped and looked behind.

"Me?"

He pointed at himself with a confused face telling what the hell does this girl want in his heart.

"Yes! You!"

Her voice was filled with anger.

'Did I kill her family or something? Why is she mad at me?'

Roel thought but walked toward her.

"Yes? What do you want?"

Roel's voice was cold and emotionless.

"What do I want? Didn't you see a pretty girl like myself sitting on the edge of the bridge going to commit suicide?"

"Pretty girl? Going to commit suicide? Where is she? I didn't see her."

Roel looked here and there searching for that girl.

"You!" Her cheeks puffed like a puff fish.

"Yes." Roel ignored her puffing cheeks and asked with a tilted head.

"I am that girl. A pretty girl troubled by the world going to commit suicide. Don't you have a heart? Can't you just comfort me?"

"... Why do I have to comfort you?"

"What if I commit suicide? Won't it be a waste for a beautiful girl like me to die?"

"I don't think so. There are many beautiful girls like you. So, it won't be a waste. Go and jump from the bridge. You have my luck."

"Do you have a heart of a demon?! And why are you giving me your luck?!"

"Sorry, but my heart is as human as yours. And the luck is important!"

Roel put his hands on her shoulder and with a serious expression like going to solve a math problem, he opened his mouth.

"What if you jump down on the river and didn't die? What if someone saves you from drowning? That will suck like hell. I am saying from my personal experience, you don't want to get saved mid-ways, do you? So, take my luck and jump down. You will die for sure."

As Roel finished his speech, the girl looked at him in a daze with a face full of question marks looking at him like he was some crazy dude.

"Ok?" She didn't know whether she should laugh or cry.

"Yeah. Now go and jump down!"

"Ok- Wait! I won't jump down! Why do I have to jump from here?!"

"You don't want to jump? Then let me bring you a rope. You can hang under the bridge. No one will find you. You can die in peace then."

"O- Wait! I don't need rope- Anyway, what I mean is, I don't want to die. I am so young, why do I die?!"

"Yeah, why do you need to die? Let's find the answer together. Then you can die."

"Huh?"

...

A dead silence. The girl sighed. Her eyes were teary as she couldn't understand herself.

Why did I stop this psycho?!"

"Ok. Let's forget about dying. I am going ok."

"Ok. Have a good day. Hope you get your answer and die."

With that, Roel turned back and walked to his destination leaving the confused girl.

He reached his destination. The Superhero Academy.

A building that looked extravagant as possible. The building was tall and long. Many people his age walked inside the building. They had hope and joy on their face.

Roel joined the crowd and entered the building.

He reached his destination, the admission hall. He had to fill his form with his name, address, superpower, etc.

He chose his superpower 'Telekinesis' since it was easier to cast and helpful to his daily life as well as his school life.

After that, a young man in his twenties came toward the group of students including Roel and lead them to an open ground that was covered with a barrier.

"We will test your super power and rank them here."

The young man said with a smile on his face and started the examination process.

The young man took the students or going to be students to a big examination hall. The hall was big enough to fit five-hundreds people.

Roel along with other students sat at the desk. Roel just chose a random desk and sat as if he owned it.

A white-haired guy sat on his right and a red-haired girl sat on his left.

Five to six adults distributed papers to the students and left the venue. Roel stared at his paper before writing the answer without thinking much.

All the questions were decision-based... A question with four answers and he had to choose one as an answer.

Ten minutes later-

Many students passed the paper to the examinee. As they gave the paper, they were instructed to go to the ground for a power test.

Roel also handed his test paper to the examinee. He left the exam hall.

On the ground which roof was covered with glass panels. The ground was full of sand. And hundreds of students stood on the ground chatting with each other.

Ten minutes after, when every student finished turning over the paper to the teacher, they arrived at the ground.

Roel stood alone looking at other students.

"Hello"

Suddenly, a voice rang behind Roel. He didn't react. But, a hand touched his shoulder. Just as he felt the touch, Roel immediately looked behind.

A white-haired guy with a creepy smile on his face was standing. His body was slim. There was not much muscle in his body. And his appearance was about average.

"What?"

Roel asked blinking his eyes.

"Nothing. I just saw you standing here lonely like a bonded puppy, so I thought I could talk with you."

"...sorry, wrong person."

Roel turned around planning to leave the area.

"Wait! I mean, I am also alone. So, let's be friends."

"Sorry, but I don't make friends with abandoned puppies."

"Guh!" Roel's words pierced the white-haired guy's chest like a bullet.

"T-That's not what I mean. Anyway, My name is Chandler." He stretched his hand over.

"Ok? My name is Roel."

Chandler's hand hung in the air. He embarrassingly retracted his hand.

"If you don't have anything else, may I go?" Roel asked.

"Wait! Why are you in hurry? We just met."

Chandler complained while grabbing Roel's shirt.

"I am not in a hurry."

"Then why are you leaving me."

"Why? I am not your servant, am I? I walk with my own legs and waste my own stamina. So, I think it's none of your business to ask me that."

Roel's straight answer hit Chandler like a collapsed building. He didn't know if he should laugh or cry.

"Can't you just give me company?"

"Sorry, but I don't have any company to give you. I am a poor man."

'That's not what I mean! I mean, can't you stay with me."

"Why? Are you gay or something?"

"Wh-?"

"Hahaha! That's hilarious. You two sure make a comedy duo."

Chandler's hand hung in the air. He embarrassingly retracted his hand.

"If you don't have anything else, may I go?" Roel asked.

"Wait! Why are you in hurry? We just met."

Chandler complained while grabbing Roel's shirt.
