Alan walked inside the Hunter's Guild and entered Weapon Store.
A woman in her thirties came to greet Alan with a cheerful smile.

The two Gauntlet covered up to her wrist. She was smiling staring at the Gauntlet. Alan walked and laid on the bed. He ordered some food.
Lina faced Alan. "Thank you... very much for these." Her voice was full of gratitude.
"Ok." Alan nodded and the food arrived.
And they both ate the food and again left for the dungeon. After transporting to the dungeon, Alan said.
"I will not make any barrier this time. You have to fight them without any advantage."

Five goblins were surveying the area. Alan stopped and said.
"Go and fight them."
"OK!" Lina sprinted toward the goblins and swung her Gauntlets.

One goblin got hit and flew to the wall. It fell down and stopped moving indicating it died.
Other goblins immediately took their fighting stance and attacked Lina. Lina blocked the attack and hit them with her Gauntlets.

Because she had leveled up previously, her speed was much faster. And with her Gauntlet, she didn't waste her energy.
She quickly dealt with them without getting any scratches on her. She looked at Alan and smiled.

Alan threw his sword at Lina and stabbed the goblin which was going to attack her from behind.

"I will definitely catch up with you!" She shouted at Alan and sprinted ahead.

She immediately took her fighting stance. The big goblin also stood with his big hammer and rushed toward Lina.
The big goblin strike its hammer at Lina and she punched the hammer.

Alan who was watching the fight looked at Lina. His eyes widen.
"She could already beat me in strength." Alan murmured to himself.
Lina who punched the hammer didn't receive any damage but the hammer got shattered. The big goblin was petrified to see its hammer shattering into pieces.
Lina immediately punched the big goblin and flew it to the wall.
The big goblin stood up. It got a little injured. It murmured to himself and his whole body glowed in red.
It put his hand on its knee and took a shape of a ball and rolled toward Lina at full speed. But Lina didn't flinch, she faced the big goblin head-on and punched it.

She got thrown 2 meters away but the big goblin got thrown at the wall again and coughed a lot of blood.
It eyes were full of despair. Its hand shook and it tried to run. It already realized that Lina is much stronger than it.
Lina immediately stood and rushed toward the big goblin and punched at the goblin hea with her full strength.
Crack! Boom!
The goblin's head got shattered in pieces. The pieces of the head fell to the ground. Lina staggered and was about to fall on the ground.
But Alan caught her.

He took out more than 1000 cores from his inventory. After taking out every monster core from his inventory, he looked at Lina.
"Do you know the reason why you collapsed while fighting?"
"I don't know." She sat on the ground beside Alan.
"You used more strength than your body could hold."
"What?" Lina tilted her head.
"Your body is weak but your strength is great. You exerted your muscle way too much until you passed out. If you don't refine your body and make it stronger then you can't use the gauntlet."
Alan said without hesitation in his eyes.
"How do I refine my body?" Lina asked immediately.
"By absorbing these cores." Alan pointed out the small round objects which are literally cores.
"Huh...? How do I absorb it?" Lina took one core in her hand and stare at it.
"I will show you. But I am going to absorb way too much and will take almost 1 to 2 hours. And if blood comes out from my mouth then feed me this pill immediately." He gave the healing pill to her.
"Ok?" She took the pill with confusion in her hand.
Cores are generally stones that are filled with energies. Absorbing cores increases our defense, strength, vitality, and magic. But each stats have their own special cores.
And Alan is going to absorb all of the cores at one time which is very dangerous. Absorbing cores requires caution. A single mistake could cost your life. Absorbing cores equal taking a huge amount of energy and using it to refine our body.
A single mistake and the energy will blast out from your body. This happens when one absorbs more than 10 cores or different types of cores at a single time like Alan is going to do.
So if someone is going to absorb many cores at once, they need a person who can help them at a critical time. That's why Alan didn't absorb his cores previously.
Alan changed his sitting posture into a meditation posture. He leaked some of his mana and the mana touched the cores.
