The first Hunter to encounter these creatures and give them the name 'Ice Demons' had managed to survive the encounter. However, he ended up in intensive care for two weeks before eventually succumbing to the poison.

They had initially planned to involve them later in the fight against Asus, as they had no information on the boss monster. However, the situation was completely different now that they had lost their numerical advantage.
