Benjamin Rivers glanced at her and then at the man in the driver’s seat. His gaze deepened.
Benjamin Rivers was a shrewd person. Afraid that he would see through her, Serenity casually found an excuse. “I happened to meet Brother-in-Law on my way back from work so he sent me back.”
John turned off the engine and got out of the car. “Dad, did you just get off work?”
“Yes, why don’t you come in and have a seat?” Benjamin Rivers’s expression remained the same.
John smiled lightly.” No, Selena is still waiting for me to go back for dinner.”

Benjamin Rivers nodded. “Bring Selena and Eva for a visit when you have time. Your mother talks about Eva every day.”
