Chapter 125 Zero Fear

Griselda shook her head in disbelief when she saw that signature smirk of Lei Zhen in which you just want to punch his face without reason.

"Anyway, it's good to see you recover in a flash." She said in relief.

Truth be told, she was indeed frightened by the impulsive and irrational behavior of Lei Zhen.

It was almost as if she was interacting with a stranger, one that she does not wish to have contact with.

"Yea, I'm sorry for my rash behavior. I promise it won't happen again." Lei Zhen apologized.

He meant to get drunk at his apartment to not create trouble for anyone, but couldn't control his urge to not get intoxicated throughout his walk.

Though after this lesson, he wouldn't dare to touch alcohol again considering his lack of tolerance for it.

Just one small beer can was able to make him go out of control and almost cause a huge mess.

"Tsk, at least you know how to man up and apologize." Griselda clicked her tongue and crossed her arms.

"Well, I'm at fault so clearly I needed to apologize." Lei Zhen scratched his head slightly.

He then noticed the basin of water on the floor with a towel in there.

"Thank you by the way."

"Thank you for what?"

"For tending to my drunkenness and using a towel to wipe my forehead." He smiled, showing a grateful expression at her.

"I don't know what you're talking about?" Griselda denied doing any of it and turned her back toward him.

Seeing her turning into a cute tsundere somewhat made Lei Zhen chuckle a bit.

One moment she was all so fierce, the next moment she was the wise woman, imparting some motivational speech to him, and now she's acting like a little girl, being all shy and that.

"What is so funny?" Griselda asked, gnashing her teeth.



"Nothing, I'm just thankful. That's all."

"How very amusing of you. Can't believe I even bother helping you sober up and all."

"I owe you a favor, okay?" Lei Zhen raised his hands as an act of surrender.

Frankly speaking, if it weren't for Griselda's timely arrival, who knows how badly he would have been with this dumb depression.





Seeing his genuine expression, Griselda nodded her head. "That's right, you better not go drinking some stupid beer and get drunk again."

"Understood, alcohol is bad. Water is the king."

"Meh, I was thinking more of the Nutrient Solution as king."

"Not everyone is wealthy like you and can treat those as daily water to drink."

"Sucks to suck then. I'm rich and you're poor." Griselda chuckled, clearly joking with her words. If she really wanted to be mean then she wouldn't have even come here in the first place.

Sometime later, the atmosphere became lively as Lei Zhen relayed the news of who Tie Longkun was.

"What? Tie Longkun is your coworker?" Griselda held a disbelief expression.

Of the billions of people around the globe playing Magnolia, what were the chances of him being teammates with his fellow coworker.

And not planned for that?

The chances were next to zero since the possibility of it was very unlikely, to begin with.

"Indeed, I kind of recognized him from the start given his obvious name being the same as my coworker. And I planned on inviting him as a permanent team member." Lei Zhen calmly said.

"A permanent team member?" Griselda raised an eyebrow in shock. "Even after we betrayed him and all of that?"

Despite giving him an explanation of their previous action, Griselda didn't believe Tie Longkun would accept it.

Who would be foolish enough to believe their reasoning after a backstab?

"That you can rest assured," Lei Zhen smirked, sneakily explaining how he subtly deceived and maneuvered Tie Longkun's thinking logic.

"I'm ashamed to have met you," Griselda said, but then smirked evilly.

"But that's exactly what I will do too."

"Mhmm, it seems like we have the same conduct."

Suddenly, wicked laughter echoed in the apartment, with two people praising each other for their devious scheme.

After laughing for a good while, Griselda suddenly suggested, "Since you are planning on including Tie Longkun as a permanent team member, then why not create a guild? Three people are sufficient to create a guild."

"A guild?"

"Yes, a guild unlocked many functions and features. It's just that in the past, I refused to mingle with other players. Hence, I never joined a guild nor created one myself."

Lei Zhen rubbed his chin, seemingly pondering over the creation of a guild.

Honestly, it wouldn't matter much to him, but he had been almost alone all his life until recently through the connection of Magnolia.

He was afraid that he might not be used to the change of environment and interacting with other people frequently now.

Seeing Lei Zhen all quiet and stuff, Griselda patiently took a seat near the diner table and waited for him to make a decision.

Creating a guild is not some joke or fun, but a serious matter in Magnolia. To create a guild was declaring your stand in Magnolia and having a faction of your own.

Time slowly passed by, and after much wavering, Lei Zhen nodded his head.

"Let's do it. Let's create a guild in Magnolia." He said, showing his determination and resolution.

Hiding for so long, it was about time for him to start creating a storm and enact his vengeance.

Since Lei Enterprise heavily supported the Aries Guild, then he shall topple the guild into nothingness.

Meanwhile, Griselda clasped her hand and smiled joyfully.

"Great, I shall be the Vice Leader. No negotiation and the guild name must be befitted of my status as a top player and celebrity image." She said brightly.

Although it seemed like she was eager to have a rank, she was practically saying he would be the guild leader and it was non-negotiable.

Lei Zhen nodded his head.
