Chapter 182 182

As Xzavier predicted, this new group of warriors, each of whom was at least a level 5 mage, is Quaid's best close guard, and each of whom had fought a hundred battles. Their precise maneuvers and silent cooperation made battle difficult for him.

"Oh, no! I don't even have the ability to counterattack in this situation. " Xzavier complained while they were in the air. They didn't give him a chance to catch his breath because of the adversary's great cooperation. To avoid their barrage of strikes, he had no choice but to weave in and out of their path.

Xzavier was startled to discover that one of the magicians had summoned a gigantic eagle and was riding it while attempting to attack him. As the eagle swooped towards him, Xzavier noticed the mage crouching on its back.

Because Xzavier did not anticipate the adversary's ability to fly, he was compelled to increase his speed in order to escape the adversary's pursuit. They were both in a dogfight in the air and were flying around each other like two planes.

Xzavier abruptly stalled in mid-flight. Because the eagle was not nearly as agile as the battlesuit, it was clearly incapable of making such an unconventional action. It directly hit Xavier in its skull.

Xzavier used the situation to his advantage by putting a grenade in the eagle's mouth and then leaving the area.

BOOM!

The rapid explosion destroyed the eagle's head. The mage was riding on its back at the moment and was knocked off, suffering significant injuries as a result.

Unexpectedly, something went wrong, which threw off the coordination of Dale's crew and made them temporarily lose their bearings.

Xzavier took advantage of the opportunity and increased the number of shots he took. A hail of projectiles descended on the mana barrier, where they were deflected and eventually fell to the ground. He was skeptical that the mages could maintain the barrier for long.

As he expected, some of the weaker magicians were unable to withstand the bullets that breached the barrier and were gravely hurt. This development did not surprise him.

The formation was thrown off as a result of the injured individuals, and the amount of pressure applied to Xzavier was lessened. As he proceeded into the army's heart, he took advantage of the opportunity to make a low pass and throw a couple of ready-to-explosion grenades.

BOOM ...

A massive explosion erupted in the midst of the crowd, and fires erupted all over the place. A large number of the mages were severely wounded and slumped to the ground.

Dale's wrath prompted him to draw as much mana as he could from within his body, and as a result, he lashed out. He let out a powerful shout before tossing a large silver blade at Xzavier.

Swish! The crescent-shaped blade slashed onto Xzavier's steel battlesuit. The impact threw Xzavier over, and he didn't stop moving until he ran into some trees.

"Did it work out?" Dale looked in the direction Xzavier had fallen when he had fainted. Despite this, he communicated his displeasure.

As a result, Dale's efforts were futile as a result of the Iron Battlesuit's powerful defenses.

Xzavier returned to the skies, resuming his earlier approach of maintaining a saturation of continuous fire. At this time, just a few of the army's senior mages could launch a counterattack while defending, and the remainder of them could barely defend themselves.

At this point, the exchange of positions between the offensive and defensive sides took place.

Dale was surprised since he hadn't expected Xzavier to have become stronger since the last time he saw him. He was extremely bewildered as to how this could be happening. To go from an offensive to a defensive approach, he had to direct the surviving mages to begin gathering, and then he had to lead them to form a collective defensive boundary.

A defensive boundary in the shape of a half-sphere quickly formed in the available space.

Dale's gang went inside for safety in order to avoid getting hit by gunfire.

Dale was able to relax because even Laddie was unable to break this strong collective limit in such a short period of time. The bullets struck the border but were diverted by it, just as he had predicted. There was no interruption near the border.

After discovering that the bullets had no practical effect, Xavier resolved to seek out a more potent weapon to replace them with.

He extended his right hand and pointed at the boundary with his centre of the palm.

A tremendous beam of laser light began to gather steadily in his palm before suddenly firing.

The boundary made by the united mana was cut right away and completely by a blinding flash of light.

The laser in the center of Xzavier's palm pierced the barrier like a rainbow, quickly killing the majority of the mages on the inside. The few powerful mages who were still alive, including Dale, had been badly hurt and were about to die.

Right at this moment, Xzavier came down and began to float above them as if he were a god.

Xavier's power had exceeded their expectations, and as a result, they had all nearly totally lost the desire to fight. They just didn't dare to oppose them, knowing that those who do would perish quickly.

Xzavier collapsed to the ground and moved slowly towards Dale.

Dale was unable to speak because he was afraid and eventually went mute. He couldn't figure out how or why Xzavier had gotten to the point where he was scarier than Laddie. Xzavier had only recently begun training.

This was, in fact, the situation. In a fight to the death, the Xzavier from a few days ago would never be able to defeat such a powerful elite unit. But now that he was donning the battlesuit, things were different.

Xzavier got directly to the point of the discussion by asking, "Where is Tacy?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Dale maintained his act of show.

Crack!

Xavier's face was sad as he lifted his foot and broke Dale's calf.

"Ahhhhhh!" Dale yelled in agony and rolled around on the ground in pain.

"I'm not in the mood to hear your nonsense right now. If you want to die in misery, you can deliberately postpone it for some time." Throughout the conversation, Xavier maintained a blank expression.

Dale planned to lie about what happened, but this time Xzavier cut off his right arm.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Dale's face was almost distorted with misery.

"Don't even try to trick me." Xzavier talked about taking Dale's another arm off when he was finished.

"She's staying in the governor's mansion!" Dale screamed for no apparent reason due to fear.

"Got it, thanks."

As soon as Xzavier learned where Tacy was, he shot and killed Dale.

He showed no mercy in this particular case. The rest of the mages in this region were a threat to him. He didn't think twice about killing everyone here.

To be merciful to his opponents would be cruel to himself.

He decided not to turn around and look at the dead bodies behind him this time.

With the exception of Earlene, the other three girls were pleased to learn that Xzavier had returned safely.

"So, how are you going to cope with my father after this?" With a pleading expression on her face, she implored Xzavier.

"That's one way to phrase it. My major goal, though, is to save Tacy rather than kill your father. " Xzavier responded solemnly. After that, he told the other girls, "Tacy is at Quaid's mansion, and I will go there by myself to rescue her."

"Don't do that; it's dangerous; we'll accompany you." Babara made the proposal.

"No, you should not go because it is extremely dangerous," Xzavier stated, "In the purest sense, this is about my personal affairs. Furthermore, same as what I previously stated, I do not intend to die."

Adalia did not persuade him to bring her along, instead turning back and saying, "I'll be waiting for your fantastic news." As a reward, Xavier was given a cool back figure.

"Thanks." Xavier expressed to Adalia his heart.

"By the way, it's about time you go home." He turned to Earlene and said,

Earlene, who was being held by Xzavier thousands of feet above the ground, was completely at ease and had no fear. Both of them were going very fast in the general direction of the city of Victoria.

Xavier accomplished in an hour what would have taken several days on horseback.
