"Dinner is here, sorry for the little delay, I had to prepare multiple dishes. I hope I didn't keep you all waiting," Ivy apologized as she arranged the food on the table.
"It's fine, Ivy, you worry too much..." Madam Layla reassured her with a warm smile.
The maids swiftly followed suit, filling the dining table with a splendid array of dishes. After a polite bow to Madam Layla, they quietly exited the hall.
The sight of this culinary feast was a delight for Xi Meili. Her mouth watered, and she had to muster some restraint to keep from diving headfirst into the array of tantalizing dishes.
"Ahhh... What a delicious aroma coming from the foods, each of them must be super delicious... Oh, I can't wait to feast on them!" Xi Meili couldn't help but express her excitement in a hushed voice. Her eyes sparkled like stars in the night sky, reflecting her eagerness.

"Wow! This fish soup is incredibly delicious, and a little spicy too..." Xi Meili couldn't contain her excitement as she savored the soup prepared by Ivy.
Madam Layla observed Xi Meili with a gentle smile, shaking her head slightly. She couldn't help but wonder about the origins of this girl with such a voracious appetite. She then addressed the table with a smile.
"Before the food gets cold, let's dig in, shall we?"

After a while, Yuan and his wives began to feel full and gradually stopped eating, except for Xi Meili, who was still going strong. This was no surprise given Xi Meili's dragon heritage, known for both their enormous appetite and immense strength.
A few moments later, even Xi Meili was done eating, and her stomach had indeed taken on a slightly rounder appearance, a testament to the substantial amount of food she'd consumed.
"Burp! Ahhh... That was delicious!" Xi Meili let out a satisfied burp, rubbing her hand over her stomach.
"Hehe~ Meili dear, it seems you've eaten much more than you should. Look at your stomach now, it's become slightly round. People might mistake you for being pregnant," Anna teased playfully, glancing at Xi Meili's rounded midsection.
Xi Meili fell silent after Anna's remark, her face turning beet red as she looked at her stomach.
"I also agree on this... Hehe~" Lily chimed in, chuckling as she joined in on the playful banter.
Sensing Xi Meili's embarrassment, Yuan stepped in. "Since everyone's finished eating, let's head to the living room and rest for a moment before going to bed."
"Agreed, let's have a chat. It's not good for our health to go to bed right after dinner," Madam Layla added, standing up and heading towards the exit.
Yuan and his wives followed suit, walking together to the living room for a pleasant conversation before retiring for the night.
A minute later, they arrived at the living room and settled onto the sofa.
Madam Layla looked at Yuan and spoke, "Yuan, tomorrow morning, I'll give you the reward I promised for successfully defeating the Lord of the Mountain and saving this village. I should've already given it to you, but with everything that's happened in the past few days, it nearly slipped my mind."

After some casual conversation, Yuan turned to Madam Layla and said, "It's quite late now, we should probably head to bed."

"Well, I can't help it since I've gotten used to calling you that," Yuan replied, touching the back of his head with a grin.
"Is that so? I guess I can't convince you now to call me mother-in-law... Sigh!" Madam Layla sighed and smiled awkwardly at Yuan. She said, "I will head to my bed now since I have a lot of work to do tomorrow. You should head to your bed as well, I guess..."
"Sure..." Yuan nodded with a smile. Madam Layla left the living hall, and James followed suit.
Ava and Julie exchanged a look, and Julie said to Yuan, "We'll be heading to our bedroom. Good night, Yuan..."

Yuan rose from the sofa, a mysterious smile gracing his face. He said to them, "Well, let's get going then. We have a lot to talk about once we enter my room."

"Fufufu~ Darling, you naughty boy, scaring the two ladies before bringing them to our room," Grace chuckled at Yuan, teasing him playfully.
