Chapter 281 The Village is Safe
"Thanks, husband. But now my clothes have gotten dirty..." Julie looked at her blood-soaked clothes with an exhausted smile on her face, using more than half of her Qi made her very exhausted.

"Mom, look! That beautiful big sister killed all the wolves!" A beautiful little girl suddenly shouted from her mother's embrace, pointing her finger at Julie.
"That's right, she saved us all from becoming food for the wolves." The mother replied to the little girl with a sweet smile on her face.
"If not for her, we don't know what would've happened to us by now."

Chief Alden was so grateful at this point that tears streamed down his wrinkled cheeks as he saw all the wolves lying dead on the ground, their blood soaking the village ground in scarlet.
"Please, there's no need to thank us, Chief Alden. We're merely doing our job." Julie replied with a smile on her face as she shook her head slightly.
"But, as the people of this village, we ought to thank you for saving our lives..."Chief Alden shook his head, and with a smile, he said, "If not for you many innocent lives would've been lost today at the wolves' claws..."
"Thanks to your effort many lives have been saved, for that, you have my deepest gratitude, Young Lady." After that, he lowered his head slightly in gratitude to Julie.
If Yuan and his women had not arrived in the town and stepped up to fight the wolves, many innocent people would have died. It didn't matter if it was an elderly person or a newborn baby, the wolves would have viciously slaughtered them and devoured their remains.
Numerous villages have been destroyed by vicious Monsters like these, and this village would have suffered the same fate as the other villages if Yuan and his wives had not intervened.

Chief Alden as well as the villagers were shocked with their wide-open eyes, witnessing Yuan making the wolf hide disappear into thin air as though it didn't exist in the first place. What just happened?
'What kind of sorcery is that? How did he make the wolves hide and disappear into thin air just like that? No, it's not the first time he did something like this. He materialized the sword in his hand out of nowhere, too.' Chief Alden cried inwardly, with a seemingly disbelief look on his face.
"Chief Alden, our business is finished here, can you take us back to your home? Julie here would like to clean herself as soon as possible, all the blood on her body making her uncomfortable." Yuan's voice suddenly resounded from behind.
"Ah? Oh, yes...being bathed in blood must be extremely unpleasant." When he heard Yuan's voice, Chief Alden snapped out of his daze and exclaimed, "Please follow me, I will bring you all back to my house."
He said, "When we get back, I'll have my daughter-in-law prepare some warm water for the young girl to bathe in." He then signaled them to follow him.
"That would be wonderful! A warm bath after so much hard work always sounds perfect." Julie exclaimed with an excited look on her face, she was looking forward to soaking her body in warm relaxing weather since she felt so exhausted.
Yuan and the girls then followed Chief Alden back to his home to rest for the night.

"Oh, esteemed guests, you've returned. Would you please come inside?" The Chief's daughter-in-law instantly welcomed them inside, and asked, "Can I assume you've taken care of the wolves, I suppose?"
"Yes, we've eliminated the wolves and the village is safe from now on." Anna Grace replied with a smile on her face before entering the house.
"Mina, would you be kind enough and warm a bucket of water for this young lady to bathe? The blood on her body makes her very uncomfortable." Chief Alden said to Mina, his daughter-in-law after entering inside.
"I understand. Give me a minute and I'll warm the water for the young lady." Mina nodded before exiting the living room to get the warm water ready for Julie to clean herself.
Sometimes later, Mina returned to the living room where she had prepared the warm water and led her to the bathroom.
After arriving at the bathroom, Julie immediately soaked her body in the warm water, and soon a warm and relaxed sensation spread throughout her limbs.
After a few minutes of soaking, Julie scrubbed away all the wolf's blood from her body and washed her clothes before drying her clothes using her spiritual energy.
After that, she put on a new dress, left the bathroom, and returned to her husband and sisters' side the following moment.
"Mother-in-law, please keep my clothes in your spatial ring since I don't have one..." Julie handed her clothes to Anna Grace after arriving in the living room.
"Sure, no problem." Anna Grace nodded and stored Julie's clothes in her spatial ring.
Sometimes later, they had dinner with the Chief's family. The food was prepared using the wolves' meat they'd killed not long ago seasoned with many spices and cooking ingredients.
Once the dinner was finished, they all headed to the bedroom.
The following morning, after having breakfast with the Chief's family, Yuan and his wives said goodbye to the villagers before leaving the village.
Once they're out of the village, they take the other road to go to the other side of the village as they don't intend to wait in line to get inside the city, it will be a waste of time.
"Although this road is a bit long and dangerous, we'll reach the other side of the city much faster, since we don't need to wait in line to get into the city," Julie said with a smile on her face.
Yuan nodded. "That's why we decided to take this road."
