'Well, that quest was easy.' The goalkeeper said subconsciously before turning his gaze to the staircase.
<Because you decided to make sandwiches>
'Hey, having sandwiches for breakfast is healthy, are you forgetting that I had to toast the slices of bread.'
<Yeah, and how long did it take you to finish that?>
'It doesn't matter, all that matters is that I finished making breakfast before forty-five minutes and got my experience points, I'm pretty sure Emma's going to love it.'
<Don't be so sure about that>
Just after mentioning her name in his mind, she began to make her way downstairs.
"You've finally decided to come downstairs," Dave said as he watched her make her way down the staircase.
"Yeah." She said before letting out a fleeting breath.
Dave knew she had to be drained after all that throwing up, so he slowly made his way to her to help her.
"I know you're tired, so why don't we have breakfast first?" He said as he helped her toward the dining table.
"You made breakfast?"
"Yeah."
"What did you make?"
"We're already here so take a look for yourself." The goalkeeper said.
"Sandwiches." She muttered with a tone that Dave interpreted as sounding a bit disappointed but he wasn't exactly right.
Before he could say anything, she slowly sat down on the seat and picked up the first sandwich on her plate which she didn't hesitate to start biting down on to Dave's surprise.
After finishing the sandwich she washed it down by taking some milk from the glass of milk on the table before turning her gaze to a surprised Dave.
"Thank you, Babe, this tastes great." She smiled.
"Anything for you." The goalkeeper said.
"Let me try the next one." She said before she turned her gaze back to her plate and picked up the next sandwich.
Dave stood there and watched her repeat the process with the second sandwich and just before she could pick up the third one, she noticed that he was still standing there and slowly turned his gaze to him.
"Hey, what are you still standing there for, aren't you going to join me?" She said after turning her gaze to him.
"Um...Don't worry about that, I'm not that hungry yet, I'll have something when I want to." He replied with a smile.
"Okay, suit yourself then, but don't stand there looking at me, it's inappropriate." She said.
"Okay, I'll sit down then." The goalkeeper said before he pulled out the seat beside her and sat there.
"Seriously?" She said before glaring at him.
"Don't worry, I'm not watching you and I'm not standing anymore am I?" He said before he pulled up his phone and began to scroll through it.
Emma kept that glaring look on him for a while before she turned her gaze back to the food and continued from where she left off.

Unique FC had a match against Black Roz FC on Sunday tomorrow which was going to a match held on match day five.
Match days three and four had already taken place on Friday and Saturday and that meant that some teams had already scaled above them on the table.
They were sitting in ninth place now because two teams that lost their match on the first match day managed to grab a win from their next opponents with three and four goals compared to what they did against Frono FC.
Frono FC were sitting above them in eighth place after scoring four goals and conceding two in their last match which was against Lospeno FC on Saturday.
Spree City on the other hand were sitting in sixth place after beating Olona FC five goals to one and Black Roz FC were sitting in seventh place after beating Tereville United four goals to one.
The first, second, third, fourth, and fifth spots were occupied by Supreme United, Dynamo FC, Lesica United, Troham United, and Litno FC consecutively.
Supreme United were currently the only team with six points after defeating Rojo Sturm United three goals to nothing. Dynamo FC could have joined them up there with six points but they only managed to get a goalless draw with Litno FC.
Lesica United United also drew against Troham United, that's why they were all sitting behind Supreme United with four points and there was a chance that they could be pushed further down by Unique FC and Spree United, both teams won their first matches of the season one goal to nothing and now both of them were sitting in eight and ninth place consecutively.
There was also Black Roz FC the team that could move to first place if they win their next match and surpasses Supreme United's goal difference in doing that.
These three teams had matches tomorrow and grabbing a win would mean that they would move to first, second, or third place depending on the number of goals they were going to win with.
Right now, it seemed quite impossible Unique FC or Spree United to push down Supreme United given that they only scored one goal with zero goals conceded but Black Roz would be able to do it.
Supreme United on the other hand had managed to score eight goals while conceding only one in their last two matches, the only way for any of them to move past them was to score eight or more goals against their opponents tomorrow.
"If we can only get eight goals against Black Roz tomorrow without conceding any then we will move to first place and sit there above them until the next match days," Mateo said with an elated voice but it didn't take long before his voice suddenly dropped. "Oh, what am I saying, these are just wishful thoughts? Black Roz may have just returned from relegation but I don't think they're a pushover team, imagine beating Tereville United four goals to one."
"I don't think you should be worried about climbing above Supreme United at this point of the season, the only thing that should matter now is getting level on points with the same amount of matches played." Dave expressed.
The training session had come to an end and instead of going home as the sun was beginning to set, the two decided to sit on the pitch and have a little chat about tomorrow's match.
"Yeah, I guess, they're scoring a lot of goals, we can do that too but Fredinho and Fred need to work on their finishing, I also need to work on my finishing." The winger said.
"Yeah, that finishing problem needs to be fixed if we're going to keep winning matches," Dave said.
"Yeah," Mateo said with a nod. "I wonder what the coach's tactics for tomorrow are going to be."
"We have to meet here tomorrow morning to find out but I'm sure it's going to be something good just like the ones he has been coming up with recently." The goalkeeper said. "Tomorrow's the last day of the month, The UEFA Europa conference league qualifiers are starting next month."
"That is going to be the hardest competition we're going to participate in this season," Mateo said.
"Yeah, it's going to be tough but I'm pretty sure we can win it." The goalkeeper said.
"I would like to agree with you but what makes you so sure of that?"
"We have a good coach, a team that's starting to understand each other, we have me and we have you, the upcoming best player in the world." The goalkeeper replied.
"Upcoming best player?" Mateo muttered as his eyes suddenly lit up.
