The ball was sent flying toward the top right-hand side of the goalpost as Dave quickly dived toward it.
He was able to get to it with the tip of his glove and with the help of ball magnet, he got enough contact force to push it over the bar.
"Magnificent save from Dave Richards to make sure his team is still leading, I knew he wasn't going to make it easy for them," Jim said.
"Yeah, wonderful save from Dave but now they have a corner to deal with," Steve said.
Kelano was standing over the ball on the spot waiting for the referee's whistle and as soon as he heard it, he quickly sent the ball flying into the box.
He sent the ball flying quite close to the goalpost so Dave had to jump together with the players contesting for the ball.
He had the hand advantage, so he was able to catch the ball before crashing to the floor with it.
"Looks like the danger has been cleared by Dave Richards once again, Spree City had their chances but getting past that goalkeeper is not an easy task, nobody has been able to score against him so far in the season and he's making sure no one does." Jim expressed. "If he finishes this match with a clean sheet, then that would mean that he has broken the record for the most consecutive clean sheets which he has tied with Devon Richards, his grandfather."
"Crazy how he has tied the record held by his grandfather and is about to break it," Steve said.
The match continued with both teams doing their best, Spree City were looking for an equalizer because, at this point in the game, all they needed was a draw because the guests were outplaying them.
Unique FC on the other hand were looking for the second goal to seal the goal for them.
After a failed attacking attempt, Martinez got the ball off Jamie with a sliding tackle to prevent a counterattack against them.
After winning the ball, he sent it rolling back to Adolf, who quickly sent it back to Dave who had gotten out of his box to receive the ball now.
With the players heading to the other side now, Spree City's goalkeeper had to leave his goal line and walk a little closer to the edge of the box, but that was a big mistake.
'You saw me with the ball on my feet here and decided to leave your goal line, fine, I give in to the temptation.' Dave said subconsciously before he pushed the ball forward a little and pulled his right leg back to send it flying toward Spree City's goalpost just before Felix could get to him.
"It's Dave's killer shot again."
The goalkeeper quickly retreated backward to try and stop the ball but he wasn't quick enough as the ball ended up smashing past the tip of his gloves to fly into the goalpost.
"Goaaaalllllll!!! Dave has just given his team the second goal of the game, Mason should have never left his goal line!" Jim exclaimed.
Dave didn't even take a single step before Minino quickly closed up on him and tackled him to the floor before the rest of his teammates joined in to jump on him.
"I didn't expect him to try that since it hadn't been working that well for him in the past couple of days, but he found the opportunity and he used it perfectly." Jim expressed.
"I still can't get over how a goalkeeper can shoot rockets from that far," Steve said.
"Yeah, the goalkeeping role suits him quite well just imagine him as a striker doing something like this from close range, he'll be a menace to goalkeepers."
The fans were going wild chanting Dave's name and Minino had his arms around the goalkeeper's shoulders forcing him to jump up and down with him.
"He now has two goals and one assist this season, with those stats you wouldn't even believe he's a goalkeeper," Jim said. "He now holds the record for the goalkeeper to score twice and also give an assist in a season, the first goalkeeper to score and assist in a season was his grandfather Devon Richards, he's slowly surpassing his grandfather."

That goal from Dave was all that was needed to shatter the spirits of Spree City players as that aggressive fighting spirit in them seem to have died down.
Despite that, Felix was still fighting hard for a goal, he was pulling off a lot of long-range shots but none of them was a real threat to o Dave.
The match had just entered the eighty-fifth minute when Mateo brought Jamie down with a sliding tackle to win the ball back.
The midfielder raised his hands to call for a foul but the referee allowed play to carry on the winger raced down the left wing with the ball.
Just before running into the right back, he had to pass the ball to Martinez who quickly sent it rolling to Ferran.
Mateo raised his hand before going past the left back and without hesitation, Ferran floated the ball over to him.
"Looking for Mateo on the wing."
The winger brought the ball down with his chest and found an opening in the defender's which he put the ball through before getting past him to get to the ball inside the box and pass it to Fred who had come on to replace Fredinho.
"Fred."
Fred trapped the ball with his left foot and quickly turned to switch it to his right leg and also get away from the player in front of him a little and once he was through, he sent the ball rolling toward the right side of the goalpost.
"Fred!"
The goalkeeper dived toward the ball but he wasn't able to get to it on time as the ball rolled into the goalpost.
"It's in! Unique FC has gotten their third goal of the game! Oh, how fast things switched up for Spree City."
Fred quickly rush to the sidelines with a knee slide before Merino got to him with a knee slide of his and pulled him down.
The players were screaming at top of their lungs as they faced the fans.
"There's no coming back from this one, the game is sealed for Unique FC, they've just run away with another three points."
"Yes!" Dave yelled as he raised both of his hands.
"You're the one who should have been careful from the start," Mateo said as he walked past Felix who had both of his hands on his waist with a devastated look on his face.
"You're right, Jim, the game is pretty much sealed, it's Spree City nill, Unique FC three," Steve said.
