They both nodded and he made his way to his room. The black cloak that Ryan had gotten at the red portal was currently his best armor. In addition, he was also using a light armor of magical fabric that was puncture resistant.

Ruri then added "It opened only thirty minutes ago, the guild is mobilizing everyone. Warriors who don't participate may be removed from the wonder project.
Kodiak's face was serious.
'That must include Roy...'
'Come on then' Ryan said, giving Kodiak a weak punch on the shoulder. The druid then gave a small smile and nodded. The three of them then ran out to one of the portals of the room, entering along with five other travelers.
As Ryan stepped through the warm, gelatinous feeling of the portal, he smelled the forest. The weather was refreshing, but the mood was still horrible. The forest was already soiled with blood, the bodies of gigantic bat-shaped creatures were scattered from one side of the portal to the other.
"Do you know these creatures?" Kodiak said.
Ruri was amazed at the size of the monsters "I've never seen anything like this" she replied. "Me neither" Ryan said as he approached the body of one of the bats.
The creature had been cut in half, a green goo was leaking from the flesh. The core of the monster was exposed, as were the internal organs that made up that disgusting creature.
'Do you have any idea what that is?' Ryan questioned, he was holding a stick, analyzing the tissues that made up that monster.
'<Yes... They are creatures from the abyss>
'Abyss?'
A roar of fury echoed through the skies. Ryan quickly stood up, and withdrawing his rifle he aimed in the direction of the sound.... A black smoke was coming out of the portal, amidst the smoke, a bat-like creature appeared. The monster had a pair of torn wings, the creature had no eyes, only a nose and two ears. There was a green goo coming out of the creature's mouth that quickly reached the skies.
A warning arose in the minds of all the warriors watching that sight. "Testing, one, two. Seven here. I am trapping this creature and all of you in a dome twenty kilometers in diameter."
At the same instant, Ryan activated his wings and leaped into the skies of that forest. "Nyx, check my back. I'm going to boost my demonic energy a bit" He said, as he aimed for the smoke.
The bat boss was flying over the smoke coming out of the portal, until a point of light flew out and hit that creature's head, lifting the creature up into the sky. The monster flew out with a roar of pain, making all the bats even more annoyed, and then hundreds of the smaller bats started coming out of the smoke from all sides, both from inside the portal and from the forest.
Using the rifle, Ryan began taking down those bats, one by one. A pile of monsters began to gather in the sky, one of the guild mages was connecting those monsters with a magic that was creating a purple cord around the neck of the creatures. The monsters were being pulled from side to side, getting stuck.
With a single shot, Ryan was able to eliminate fifty creatures at once. "I think my demon energy is good enough now.
<You're going to start?
'Exactly'
The rifle disappeared from his hands. Nyx pulled five dwarf cubes from Ryan's inventory, each one with a different crystal its top. The cubes began to rotate around Ryan, who was channeling his mana into each of those tools.

Ryan reached out and touched two of the cubes. Within seconds the two boxes opened and connected in his hand like gloves, his mana began to drain with amazing speed. The remaining cubes began to rotate with greater intensity, until they lined up around Ryan.
His mana channeled itself, forming two arms of energy at his side. Ryan's demonic aura began to flow around that armor, creating an intense heat that caught the attention of the warriors on the ground.
"That? That's a boss?"
"No... Look, there's a man over there"
"Is that on our side?"
The confused looks turned to admiration as Ryan made his first attack. With a simple movement of those hands, he launched a flaming slash that destroyed hundreds of the bats that were flying back and forth across the skies in that region.
