It was just like how Ajax asked the Stormfire earlier; however, the Stormfire didn't ask him to assure it.
Instead, it just asked whether Ajax was interested in the deal it had.

If it was before, Ajax might have thought about it; however, after learning about the usage of the Giant Fire Crystals and having a good number of the Giant Fire Crystals, Ajax thought he could give it a try regarding the Divine Flame Rule.
Even though he could not use the Divine Thunder Rule and the Divine Flame Rule back to back, Ajax thought it would be useful in one or other cases.
Just like how the Thunder Rule was effective against Demonic Beings and Evil Beings, the Flame Rule was effective against Nature-type beings and Wind-type beings.
