Even though there were still 15 days left for Ajax to enter the Floating Island, he planned to get two Offical Elemental Spirits along with as many Unofficial Elemental Spirits as possible.

There were many questions in Ajax's head and thus he decided to use his two chances to enter the Elemental Spirit World after completing Prince Dakon's mission.
'There is still Twilight's Trial in between. Once it is completed, I can enter the Floating Island without any problem.'
Ajax didn't want Twilight to miss the opportunity to enter the Floating Island because he could have seven years to do whatever he wanted.
