If it was any other tree, the natives would have become anxious and might have slashed the branches; however, they knew the benefits of the Lesser World Tree and how much it helps the world and all the living beings in the world.
So, they became excited because the older it became, the more benefits they could get from the tree.
Soon, some of the powerful natives of the world flew towards the Ancient Evergreen Woods region to see the process of nurturing the Lesser World Tree.
And of course, they wanted to use this opportunity to meet their Master Ajax and greet him.

Keeping the Eternal World Fruit away, Ajax asked Siora to crush the Lesser World Fruit.
He was curious whether the items coming out of the Lesser World Fruits change depending on who crushes the Lesser World Fruits.
Hence, Ajax picked out a Lesser World Fruit that he gained when the Lesser World Tree reached 2000 years old.
