Only after upgrading it to 100,000 years and evolving it into a Higher World Tree before he focus on the other Standard World Trees.
Since it only required 10000 drops of Plant Essence to nurture and evolve the Lesser World Trees to 10000-year-old Standard World Tree, Ajax didn't mind spending that much because he would be getting enough cultivation resources in return in the form of Lesser World Fruits, two Eternal World Fruits, a Special World Fruit along with three abilities for the World Tree.
With such benefits, spending 1000 drops of Plant Essence was nothing for Ajax.
However, things won't be the same after the Lesser World Tree becomes a 10000-year-old Standard World Tree because it requires hundreds of cultivation resources to nurture the trees.
