"W-why are you here... so early??? Did something happened at work?"

Fei Shuang asked in a surprised tone as she munched the remaining cookie in her hand. It's only been two hours since ZhenZhu dropped her at the hospital and she only retires from work till 4 in the afternoon, how on earth is she standing right in front of her at this time! Something's not right.

ZhenZhu looked at Fei Shuang with a hesitant gaze then looked back at her watch. It's 10: 03 AM, it really was early. She wasn't good at giving a good speech so she hesitated to think of the right words.

Besides, i don't like it when you get back home on a cab. What if you get kidnapped?" ZhenZhu sat right next to her as she dropped her phone on the cafeteria desk.

Fei Shuang stared open-mouthed as she listened to ZhenZhu's words. If her bestie was right, then that means she would not need to bother much about how hard her life would be for now but the word KIDNAPPING suddenly changed her mood, suddenly making her laugh so hard until her stomach started to hurt.

ZhenZhu frowned seeing how her bestie laugh at her for no reason. She couldn't understand what she did wrong and slightly sigh.

"I'm really sorry for my attitude just now,it's just the word KIDNAPPING—"

Fei Shuang couldn't continue talking and laughed, making the poor ZhenZhu flushed red.

"No." Fei Shuang rejected her words with a nod.

"Alright, alright. I won't ask any more further. I was wondering, where's Miss Long and my darling Angel?"

Fei Shuang smiled. "She's somewhere in the hospital rooms doing her work. Angel has been keeping her company wherever she goes."

Upon hearing her words, ZhenZhu sighed out of relaxation knowing that her dog was safe. She could have some quality time with her bestie while they waited for their return.

The two were busy chatting about a new cooking show on tv when Miss Long walked up to them smiling, pushing the serving table as Angel came side along with her. "Miss Shao." She greeted ZhenZhu.

ZhenZhu greeted back, speaking politely, "Miss Long,you're here."

Fei Shuang looked at Angel as she smiled. "Angel is back."

The dog wags it's tail as it approaches it's master. ZhenZhu quickly picked him up and caressed it. It's only been a few hours since the last time she saw Angel but she missed him already.

"If you'd excuse me for a moment,I'll go to the kitchen to drop the dishes."

Both Fei Shuang and ZhenZhu gave Miss Long a brief smile and nodded.

Miss Long joined them a few moments later, listening to their conversations and decided to join in. The morning passed like that, with the three of them discussing food related things, similar to the usual conversations Fei Shuang had with ZhenZhu.

On their way to the parking slot, ZhenZhu could not help but notice the unusual change of Fei Shuang. One minute she would make a whistle and a faint smile shows on her face, and the other minute she would sigh and saddened a bit.

She was dying out of curiosity and decided to ask Fei Shuang. "What's with your mood today? Did something really happen at the rehab treatment?"

Fei Shuang was silent for a few moments, but then she stopped her wheelchair mid-step and faced ZhenZhu. "It's really nothing, I'm just remembering my Grandma's words. One minute it sounds more like an advice and the other, it's just nonsense. Girlfriend, do you think I'm not getting any younger and should get married?"

ZhenZhu could see where Fei Shuang was coming from. Her grandmother is getting older and wants to see her grandchildren which was considered normal but Fei Shuang's situation has gotten worst. Before, any man would surely criticize for her obsession with work, but now it's different. Who will consider marrying her in such state,talk less of thinking about giving birth? She's a cripple now for God sake! Can she get pregnant in her situation? A probability?

Even so, ZhenZhu decided to be sincere. "To be honest, your grandmother is right about you not getting any younger but marriage should not be considered. I know that it won't be easy for you to find a husband and that's why I suggest you tell your grandmother the truth."

Fei Shuang turned her head down as she controlled her strick forward. "You're right..." she muttered with a sad face.

Seeing the car appear in their sight, ZhenZhu walked a bit faster so as to reach for the front door,drop Angel at the driver seat and assist Fei Shuang in. Fei Shuang arrived and positioned her powered wheelchair locked. ZhenZhu gently grab a hold of her and successfully put her on the sit. Angel walked and sat on Fei Shuang's lap by himself since he was trained to do so. She then opened the backseat and put the wheelchair.

Rushing into the driver seat and buckle up,she inserted the key into the ignition and twist the ignition key but the engine only made a screeching sound and refuses to start.

"What's wrong with the car?" Fei Shuang asked looking worried.

"I don't know too Girlfriend. It seems like the starter has gone bad." ZhenZhu kept twisting and twisting but it only made cacophony sounds.

"Alright just stop. We can board a taxi." Seeing her bestie not in the mood, Fei Shuang comforted her, "Don't worry too much. From now on, you can use my car before we fix yours." She pat her on the shoulder.

"Why does it take too long to get to the road side? I'm getting tired already." Fei Shuang complained as she maneuvered her wheelchair with the control stick.

"Wait,are you referring to me?" Fei Shuang stopped her powered wheelchair and raised both eyebrows as she looked at ZhenZhu. Has it already reach to the point that her best friend can't tolerate her bad habits and see her as a disappointment like everyone does? Then the world is surely being unfair.

"Of course not,i was just referring to the—"

ZhenZhu didn't get to finish her sentence when the previous car reversed and stopped right in front of them. The tinted glass window slowly lowered, followed by a familiar voice,

"Hello ladies, where are you heading to?"
