Volume 6 - CH 11

“Is there anything else you would like me to do…?”

Arisa asked Yuzuru.

However, nothing else readily came to his mind.

“umm…”

“…anything, you know? I’m your personal maid today.”

Arisa said as she leaned forward toward Yuzuru.

Her large breasts were thrust out toward Yuzuru at the same time.

For a moment, even Yuzuru had an evil thought, but…

(No, no… it’s still too early for that kind of thing.)

Somehow, he managed to suppress it with his reason.

“So? …isn’t there anything?”

When Yuzuru remained silent, Arisa asked him, looking a little sad.

When asked in such a manner, Yuzuru could not say that he had nothing to ask.

“…then, a lap pillow, maybe?”

“Sure.”

At Yuzuru’s words, Arisa immediately sat upright and patted her thighs as if to encourage him.

Yuzuru placed his head on her white thigh.

“How is it?”

“…Yeah, it feels good, I guess.”

Yuzuru answered.

Although he has had her give him lap pillows several times, this was of course the first time he had her do it in a maid’s outfit.

No, it was the first time she had done it in a mini-skirt, to begin with.

Yuzuru was a little nervous at the feel of the bare skin coming from below.

“…Speaking of which, Chiharu-san recently asked me about matchmaking.”

“Matchmaking?”

“Between my child and Chiharu-san’s child… She was thinking of doing matchmaking, or rather engagement, and, you know, marriage.”

Yuzuru nodded in agreement with Arisa’s words.

“Ah, that’s what you’re talking about. Did Chiharu-chan suggest it to Arisa as well?”

“Did you know about it?”

“She had asked me if we would have a bridge of amity between Uenishi and Takasegawa… in a light-hearted way, I guess?”

Once, when it was just him and Chiharu, she propositioned him with such a topic.

Of course, he did not respond that he agreed.

Rather, he could not answer.

“She’s a fastidious one… In the first place, children are a gift. You don’t even know if you can have one, and even the gender… It would be difficult to get married if they were the same gender.”

“I agree. In the first place, a political marriage is…”

“Well, it might not be a bad idea if it were to happen.”

Yuzuru muttered in a low voice.

The Takasegawa and Uenishi families historically speaking were not on good terms with each other.

Therefore, if the two families were to conclude a marriage alliance, it would be a landmark event in its own right.

“…Eh?”

Arisa’s eyes widened in a bit of surprise at his words.

“…Yuzuru-san, are you interested in the idea?”

“No, I’m not keen on it or anything. I don’t think there’s much point in talking about a child that hasn’t been born in the first place…”

“Then …what if we’re talking about after it’s born?”

“I think it’s up to the child’s will. If they don’t want to, we can’t force them to go ahead with it. But if they’re willing… that’s fine, isn’t it?”

Yuzuru also never wanted to marry someone who seemed too incompatible.

Be that as it may… even though unintentionally, he got a great and compatible fiancée named Arisa…

He would gladly marry Arisa.

Or rather, if they say no, he would defy them with all his might.

“It depends on the will of the child…? That’s, well, true… but still… It’s political marriage, right? After all, don’t you think it’s unpleasant?”

Yuzuru tilted his head inwardly at Arisa’s words.

Because…

“…Ours is also the same, isn’t it?”

Yuzuru and Arisa were also in a political marriage.

However, they were not averse to it for that reason.

Yuzuru also wanted to get married if she was his partner.

He thought that Arisa must be thinking the same as him…

“…Yuzuru-san, are you engaged to me because it’s a political marriage? You’re not, right…?”

Arisa asked Yuzuru to make sure.

Yuzuru shook his head as if it were a matter of course.

“That’s obvious, isn’t it? I proposed to you again… because I love you, not because of your political marriage, right?”

It was not the will of the parents.

That was his own will.

Yuzuru’s proposal had such a meaning.

“That’s right, isn’t it? Then ours is a love marriage, isn’t it?”

“No, but it began with an arranged marriage meeting… so it’s a political marriage, right? If I hadn’t met you there… well, we would have met because we were classmates, but we wouldn’t be in this kind of relationship, would we?”

Went to an arranged marriage meeting.

Fake engagement.

Sprained his ankle, helping her.

Dating to fool each other’s guardians and so on.

That’s how they got to where they were today.

At least, Yuzuru was convinced of that.

And Arisa also had no objection to it.

But…

“Well, that may be true, but…?”

“Arisa…?”

“I’m sorry. I can’t verbalize it well.”

Arisa scratched her cheek, looking a little troubled.

Yuzuru, too, could not quite understand what Arisa was stuck on.

TN: And that’s over… Next up, the school trip…!
