Chapter 14.2

Sherri left the bathroom in a gown after taking her time to wash and dry off. She didn’t immediately go to the bedroom but instead knocked on Tol’s door, hesitating. That he had hastily bolted away earlier was still in the back of her mind. That definitely must have been a strong stimulation.

Since he was her downstairs neighbor anyway and there was no lock, no one could tell her anything if she entered without knocking. However, there wasn’t much for a healthy adult man who couldn’t properly satisfy his desire to do in a room, so Sherri decided to wait to consider how ashamed he might feel.

But since she had been through more than a few men in her time, not only the naked body but also the appearance of a man comforting himself alone was not a very stimulating scene for her. Still, she thought that she should respect Tol’s privacy to this extent.

It had obviously been his first kiss, and how shocked he must have been to squirm around in a bathtub with a naked woman. Come to think of it, he had just left his body as she led him, and he hadn’t even been able to move his lips and had been just shaken with excitement. Well, Sherri had mentioned first that it was just to moisten her throat, so the uptight Tol might have been trying to stay put and not turn it into a kiss.

But no matter how small-minded he was, all he had done when a naked woman came to him was endure it like an idiot? On top of that, since she had given some stimulation to his thing, was it really the right thing for a proper man to do to run away from a ready-made plate?

From what Sherri had seen and felt in person, it was clear that he was not the type with a s*xual functional problem, but she could not guess how much self-control he had.

“Tol! I’m coming in, yea?”

When there was no sense of presence inside the room even though she knocked several times and stood in front of the door for a long time, Sherri, unable to take it any longer, gave an ultimatum and opened the door with caution.

She’d thought maybe he was here, but no one was inside; only an opened window letting in air. The fluttering curtains just stood out, as if they were telling Sherri to look at them.

How could Tol have run away after that much physical contact? This man, or so-called knight, seemed like the type she had to take her time with.

She wondered if she should go out to look for him, but it was already late, plus Tol was not a child and had been a knight here for 6 years, but she wondered if he’d gotten lost somewhere.

So, Sherri just returned to her room and laid down. She had to take off her gown and change into pajamas but fell asleep as is because she had been in the water for a long time due to Tol, causing her body to become exhausted.

It looked like Tol had come back by the next morning, thankfully. He was waking her up with a blanket pulled up to his neck, and he blushed because he could see her bare chest and underwear underneath the gown that’d rolled off from her sleeping. Not knowing where to look, his nervously shaky eyes were so cute this morning that Sherri grabbed his arm.

“Madam Kasheira!”

“…hmmm?”

She had expected him to fall on the bed like yesterday, but Tol endured firmly with only a surprised look on his face. When she pulled him in that condition, knowing that the strong man would not budge, she gently gave up and tried to get out of bed.

“Hey, hold on. Madam Kasheira. I have s-s-something to say.”

“What is it?”

Tol grabbed Sherri by the shoulders and laid her back as she tried to get up with her gown off; he then clenched his lips and opened his mouth while still making eye contact with her. A grumble ensued.

“Oh, no matter how much I think about it, I am unfit to be your escort knight. Rather, rather, you should switch me with another knight right aw—”

“No! Why are you saying this all of a sudden? You don’t like me, Tol?”

At Tol’s sudden words, Sherri yelled sharply as she smacked away his hands that were squeezing her shoulders. Tol freaked out and hurriedly adjusted Sherri’s open gown when she raised her upper body to expose her bre*sts and stomach. Sherri’s eyes looking at his trembling hands soon reached Tol’s face sharply.

“It’s n-not that! Never! I would never… But… I-I-I am not qualified.”

Was this guy’s firm reasoning that Sherri had been concerned about a problem? If not that, was it his fanatical loyalty as a knight or something? In what environment had he been raised for him to act so small-mindedly? Sherri should have finished yesterday with just drinking water, but had she gone too far with him? I mean, who told you to react so cute, she thought.
