Chapter 1859 From two sides

1859  From two sides

Sam did as he was told.

He just stayed put as he looked at the battle far away.

He used one of his shadow undead and sent it to the battlefield so that he could have better vision whenever needed. Sam was actually surprised by what he saw.

The Lycans are huge in number and there are two Late Stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivators. The young master who came to interrogate Sam is taking both of them on at the same time.

His pretty strong and both the Lycans have nothing on him.

But the rest of the Lycans are acting pretty fierce. They are not even bothering to defend properly and directly went into their true forms and attacked humans with all they got.

It looked like a suicide attack.

The young man who is there to guard Sam seemed to have realized something from the energy fluctuations.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

He asked Sam and got ready to make a move.

But Sam looked at him and said.

"You guys are in trouble. An attack is coming from the west side. Another huge wave. You need some personnel there."

As soon as Sam said those words, the young man turned to the west side of the city and saw a large fireball attacking the formation.

He was stunned and took out a communication token.

"Attack from the left side of the city. Attack from the left side of the city. There are way too many lycans. You need to redirect some of the forces there."

"What is the status, how many are there? What level is the person leading the force?"

Three questions came as a reply and the young man was stunned.

Sam sighed and said.

"Five Middle Stage Divine Plane Initiation Cultivators.

No Late Stage or Higher. Hundreds of Initial Stage Divine Plane Initiation Lycans are coming. Mostly fire element ones and there are a bunch of earth element ones."

"How the fuck do you know this?"

Sam didn't even bother to answer this.

"Just answer them. I think that takes more priority."

The young man sent the answers and then turned to Sam. He pointed his blade at Sam's chin and asked.

"How the fuck do you know this?"

"I obviously have my ways. Why would I reveal something like that to you? I am already being kind enough to give you this information."

"You better say it, or I will cut your head off."

"Buddy, you have a lot of heads to cut now. From the looks of it, your forces are not really in shape to defend the west side wall as well and those lycans are acting suicidal. If you don't go there and hold down at least two of the five Middle Stage Divine Plane Initiation Lycans, that side formation will open up.

For some reason, they are hell-bent on getting into the city, even if it costs their lives. If I were you, I would point my sword there."

Sam said as he casually moved the blade and pointed it toward the west wall.

The young man gritted his teeth and contacted someone to get the update.

"Situation is dire. The South wall is flooded and all forces are engaged. We cannot afford to hold back now. All the personnel who are resting should also appear at the West wall immediately.

I repeat, all the personnel whether injured or resting, report to the west wall and defend the city immediately."

"I told you, you are needed there."

The young man looked at Sam and hesitated a bit before decisively leaving.

"You better stay right. Don't you dare make a move."

Sam just raised his hands without saying anything.

The young man ran at his maximum speed and soon arrived at the formation. He started attacking the lycans who are crazily attacking the formations so that they could get in.

Sam sat on the harbinger as he levitated in the air while watching the show.

The situation on the west side is becoming dire. But from the south, there is no way they could pull any forces right now. If they try to pull any forces, they would just break through the formation and enter the city.

If they have to survive, then they might have to make some necessary sacrifices here. That is what Sam believed.

And even if they did so, they might not be able to preserve all of the city, they might have to take a step back. Unless and of course, there is someone that could balance the situation on the west side.

He just stood there for twenty minutes and watched the battle go down and soon the west side is crumbling.

"We need reinforcements. We cannot take this attack anymore. In the Initial Stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivators are too many. We cannot take this onslaught anymore."

The young man who was supposed to hold Sam back spoke in his communication token. But there is no response for a while and after that silence, a very feeble voice came back.

"I don't think we can do this anymore. Even if I move one soldier from the South, it will crumble and even if I don't do that, the West will fall down. What should we do?"

The claws of Lycan that are enveloped with flames were ready to take his neck off, at this moment.

21:35

Listening to those words, the young man lost hope. His posture went down and he looked down on the ground under his feet, not knowing what to do.

The enemy took advantage of his situation and tried to strike back.

The claws of Lycan that are enveloped with flames were ready to take his neck off, at this moment.

*BANG*

*BOOM*

An explosion of fire element occurred at the neck of the lycan that came and he flew to the side.

His neck tore open with a lot of blood gushing out. The fire elemental Divine energy acted chaotic and messed up the lycans fire elemental energy.

The young man came out of his stupor and looked towards Sam who is slowly coming towards him on the harbinger with a sniper rifle in his hands.

"Divine energy bullets are much better than I thought."

He muttered to himself as he loaded another bullet in the gun. The young man reacted quick enough and finished the Middle stage Lycan that almost killed him.

Sam turned towards the large battlefield beyond the formation where they all almost finished off the Initial Stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivators are barely holding up.

Sam aimed his rifle and aimed at the head of a Lycan that was about to kill a human.

*BANG*

The Lycan barely managed to sense the incoming attack and moved to the side. The problem is the bullet still hit on its soldier and the elemental energy chaos it created, even affected the Lycan's spine, making it halt in its tracks.

It senses are messed up. At this exact moment, Sam took the opportunity and shot it in the head.

He didn't wait for this young man to just yell at him or try to stop him, but Sam just kept on shooting one lycan after another as he tried to reduce the pressure on the humans.

He would have opted for another type of attack, but the humans and these lycans are too close and any of Sam's attacks without the control of this gun would kill them too.

As soon as he helped out the humans that are in dire states, he put the gun away and zoomed over into the crowd on the harbinger.

He took out the reaper sword and went on a rampage.

A Lycan came at him, a Lycan died. Two lycans came at him, and two lycans died.

Every swing of his sword took at least one life. It was like he is fighting with someone of a lower level.

And since he is on a constant move, the Lycans that are in the air are having the worst trouble of them all.

Obviously, they are not as fast in the air while levitating with their divine energy as they are on the ground. They would have been extremely quick on their feet if they were fighting on the ground and they might have had at least some resistance.

But they don't have that privilege now. One body after another fell off the sky and their plans of attacking the formation died down immediately.

The young man was dumbfounded. He didn't expect such a performance from Sam. He just ran through these lycans they are nothing and he is surprised that the presence of one man could bring such a drastic change in a matter of minutes.

Meanwhile, the Lycans also changed their focus to Sam. His black coat and harbinger along with the blood-red sword are way too eye-catching. They shifted their focus to him and even the middle-stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivators wanted to make a move as they noticed their subordinates aren't able to hold him.

But of course, the human counterparts at least put a stand and stopped them, letting Sam go on a rampage.
