Growing more anxious, she struggled and said, "Thor, let go of me. I won't let you Asgardians treat this illness. I want to go back to Earth..."
"Going back to Earth won't help," Fang Mo interjected. "From international energy magnate Tony Stark to the current director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury, from nuclear physics doctor Bruce Banner to WWII centenarian Steve Rogers, I have eyes everywhere on Earth. Do you think I, as a master of the four major divine healing arts of the Miao, Tibetan, and Uighur cultures, would let a mere patient escape from my hands?"
Jane expressed her worry, "But you don't look like you're treating an illness at all." She began to doubt Fang Mo's sanity. "Didn't you use that purple sword to defeat that Destroyer? And now you're saying it's a surgical knife?"
Apologizing, Fang Mo said, "Oh, sorry, I forgot you've seen that sword." He put the sword aside and then pulled out a virtual gold broadsword. "You haven't seen this one, have you?"
Jane examined the broadsword, which was much larger than the previous sword.
In response to Jane's skepticism, Fang Mo explained, "The previous sword inflicted more pain the more it cut, but this sword instantly causes the patient to have a stroke, heart attack, or brain death. One strike guarantees your complete demise, no resurrection..."
Thor interjected, "Alright, Fang Mo, stop scaring her." He sensed Jane trembling as he held her down. "Could we show a bit more respect for the lady? Jane isn't a Stark; she's my girlfriend..."
"Alright," Fang Mo conceded. He took out a bottle of instant healing potion from his pocket and said, "I won't scare her anymore. Anyway, have her drink this first."
"Alright," Thor agreed.
Thor recognized the potion. After all, he was there when Stark underwent surgery. Also, didn't Fang Mo use this same potion when Queen Frigga had an accident? He picked up the bottle of pale pink potion and handed it to Jane. "Jane, drink this."
Skeptical, Jane asked, "What is this?"
"He calls this Sequence Potions..." Thor began to explain.
Fang Mo couldn't help but interject, "Oh, this. This thing is called the Kill-Life-and-Death Soup Scatter. It cures one and kills nine, and when it cures one, the whole family suffers."
Upon hearing this, Jane tightly sealed her lips.
Without saying a word, she stared at Thor, conveying a simple message: 'Go on, keep talking. Do you really think I'll believe you?'
