Chapter 149: Steve
Concerned about Jane's physical condition.
Thor didn't delay for too long and quickly brought Loki out.
Loki on this side unexpectedly looked quite happy, with a joyful smile on his face as he chatted incessantly with Thor.
"Hey, brother, this doesn't seem like your style. What's with the secret operation?"
"Are you sure you don't want to solve it directly with force?"
"Blasting everything into bits with your sexy little hammer and lightning, that's the way to show your bravery and dominance."
Speaking of this, Loki suddenly started using his illusion abilities again, turning into an Asgardian soldier for a while, then into Sif, and finally into Odin.
"Well well, I think our family relationship is better now."
Probably due to being confined for a while, Loki did seem a bit erratic at the moment. After turning into Odin, he smiled triumphantly at Thor and said, "Look at me now, Thor, my child, do you still want to defy the will of King Father?"
"If I were you, I'd keep my mouth shut."
Thor was clearly annoyed by Loki's antics and even began to doubt whether taking Loki out was the right choice: "Or else you'll have a taste of your own medicine."
"No no no, brother, you need to understand one thing."
Loki's face lit up with a pleased smile, "Now you're the one asking me for help, it's hard to imagine, the mighty Thunder God Thor needing to humble himself and ask for help."
"On that note, don't you need to provide me with a weapon?" Loki continued chattering, "What about my favorite little dagger? Where did you hide them? They were a gift from Mother, don't tell me you threw them all away just because I lightly stabbed you?"
Thor didn't say anything, he just quickened his pace.
Soon, the two of them walked out of the Asgardian dungeon and followed a path to the side palace of the palace, heading towards Jane Foster's current residence.
"I heard you made many new friends on Earth, it's a pity I didn't get to participate."
Loki shrugged, teasingly saying, "It seems you really like Earth, not only did you find an Earthling girlfriend, but you also enjoy making friends with them. I thought your friendship with the weird creature, Fang Mo, was enough. I heard you formed an alliance with a soldier who wields a shield? Hahaha, brother, your taste is getting stranger."
"But you haven't told me the soldier's name yet."
"But I know a lot, even if you don't want to tell me. His name is Steve, right?"
"Seriously, you're becoming more..."
As Loki was speaking, Thor directly pushed open the door, and the two of them entered Jane Foster's residence. Loki looked up and saw Fang Mo not far away, freezing in place.
In just an instant, it seemed like all the joy disappeared from Loki's face.
Fang Mo was currently maintaining his weapons. Imperomite/Void Blade/Ender Sword Broadblade, Western Sword, dagger, frying pan, and a series of terrifying objects were inserted into the ground behind him.
"I... did I just hear you mention Steve?"
Fang Mo wiped his blade absentmindedly with a soft cloth, casually looking up at Loki, "Is that so?"
"Um..."
Loki, upon seeing Fang Mo, became visibly nervous. He remembered how Fang Mo had threatened him on the Rainbow Bridge, and almost instinctively took two steps back. He turned to Thor and said, "Brother, I don't want to help you anymore. Can you put me back in the dungeon?"
"If you keep quiet, I might consider letting Fang Mo keep your corpse intact."
Thor shook his head, "Father may not allow us to destroy Vanaheim, and he certainly won't allow us to leave Asgard. That's why I brought you out. You seem to know some secret paths between the Nine Realms."
"We can't use the Rainbow Bridge?"
Upon hearing this, Loki's disappointment was palpable.
He did know about some secret paths between the Nine Realms. Sneaking into Vanaheim wasn't an issue. But the problem was that if he wanted to destroy an entire world, he could only think of using the Rainbow Bridge, that enormous weapon. And if the Rainbow Bridge couldn't be used, how could he make the Dark Elves pay?
Loki pondered and then instinctively looked at Fang Mo.
"Uh?" Fang Mo noticed Loki's gaze and smiled, asking, "What's up? Can't use the Rainbow Bridge, so you're scheming something involving me?"
"How can you call it a scheme?"
Upon hearing this, Loki quickly put on a polite yet slightly embarrassed smile, "You're not like those rigid righteous folks. Otherwise, if you heard Thor and me planning to destroy the world, you would have spoken up to stop us, right?"
"Mainly because Odin and I are on good terms now, even considering each other as brothers. Plus, Vanaheim is one of the Nine Realms, like a study in my brother's house." Fang Mo spread his hands and continued, "Imagine if I were playing with my brother's kid, and he burned down his study without a second thought. Does that sound reasonable?"
"What kind of comparison is that..."
Upon hearing this, Loki suddenly felt smaller in front of Fang Mo.
However, Thor didn't think that deeply. He looked surprised at Fang Mo and said, "I didn't expect you could actually destroy the world."
"It's just a matter of time," Fang Mo shrugged.
He wasn't lying. In another world, Fang Mo might need to think twice, especially since he hadn't figured out how to make an onsen machine yet. However, in the Marvel Universe, destroying the world wasn't that troublesome, considering he had two Infinity Stones.
The Mind Stone might be a bit unreliable, but due to the Void Ring, Fang Mo unexpectedly had a high affinity with the Space Stone.
After all, the Space Stone was an endless source of energy. While it might not be as mighty as the Power Stone, finding a way to harness that energy would still make world destruction feasible. Not to mention that the Space Stone and the Void Ring could amplify each other's powers.
In any case, with Loki around, the general plan was quickly set.
Since Fang Mo didn't know Vanaheim's exact coordinates, Loki took on the task of finding a secret passage there.
As for the battle specifics, Fang Mo would handle it. He had been itching for a fight for a while. The enemies he encountered were all weaklings, except for the Black King Sebastian, who at least piqued his interest. With Malekith having an Infinity Stone, he should provide some entertainment.
If the opponent turned out to be strong, Fang Mo could 'accidentally' destroy the entire Vanaheim during the battle, and that should pass, right?
As for Thor in the end...
Honestly, it seemed like Thor wouldn't be of much use on this trip to Vanaheim.
So, Loki and Fang Mo discussed it and decided that when Fang Mo went on his wild killing spree, Thor would be responsible for a follow-up frenzy behind him.
