Volume 4 - CH 46.2

Staying at Hishinuma-san’s House

The bed, desk, table and shelves were all lined with stuffed animals.

“We’ve been together for so long, and now you’re embarrassed about it?”

“That’s not the same as this! I mean, don’t say things like that too often! You’re making me conscious!”

Hishinuma-san’s face turned bright red as she shouted this.

She hadn’t been drinking, but if she said she was conscious of me, I’d be conscious of her too.

“Anyway, you should get some rest today. I can’t let you go home with such a dizzy body.”

“Oh, so you mean, you won’t let me go home today. You’re a devilish woman, aren’t you, Hishinuma-san?”

“That’s not what I meant! Or rather, you’re really drunk !?”

I was surprised too.

“I know I’m drunk, but my head is strangely clean.”

That’s why I could make such a joke.

“Uh, I’ll just take your word for it and stay.”

“I’m going to sleep in the living room, so call me if you need anything.”

“Huh? Wait, this is not the way things go, right? This is Hishinuma-san’s room, so I’ll be the one sleeping in the living room.”

“There’s no way I’m letting Shoryu-kun sleep in the living room with all that snoring sounds.”

It’s true that the living room was a living hell now, but I don’t have the nerve to kick the owner out of the room to stay by myself.

I mean, if I slept in Hishinuma-san’s bed, I would be so conscious that I wouldn’t be able to sleep.

“That’s right, please call a cab for me. Then I can go home.”

“Too bad, it’s late and the cab service is already closed.”

I remembered that there were no cabs around here 24 hours a day.

Apparently, I was more drunk than I thought and forgot it.

“Then, I’ll sleep on the floor and you can sleep on the bed, Hishinuma-san.”

“Do you really think I’m going to nod my head when you say that?”

“Wait, if you can lend me a futon, I’ll be happy …”

“It’s too bad. We don’t have futons in this house.”

“…Are you serious?”

“Oh my god, don’t you usually prepare a futon for guests who come to your house?”

In the first place, they knew that I would be coming today … but they didn’t expect that I would be staying overnight.

Well, it couldn’t be helped, right?

“I will go to a hotel somewhere…”

“Why don’t you just rest at my place?”

“That’s right.”

Or rather, I didn’t bring that much money with me as I thought it would be a simple greeting.

“I’ll sleep without a futon then.”

“No, not that either. I’ll be worried about you.”

She was really caring and kind.

But what should I do?

As I was struggling, Hishinuma-san looked at me with a red face and said, “Um… well, if you’d like to … how about sleeping together?”

“Huh…?”
