Chapter 56 - Azazel's daughter

"--What's this, that I'd come to hear such speech, is that the way things are?"

Suddenly, a third person's voice echoed in the hallway. A person came out of the room where Azazel's daughter lived.

Beautiful features, she was a silver-haired young woman. Although it is summer, she has a scarf wrapped around her neck, and yet she wears shorts, she is dressed in a way that does not fit at all. On her right shoulder, there is a lovely white dragon cuddly toy. In contrast to her mature speech, she was small, her voice was also sweet, and she seemed to be no more than someone from the last years of elementary school.

This girl was strange. However, she was a child enveloped in a mysterious atmosphere.

"I guess you must be Azazel's daughter."

The girl looked at us out of the corner of her eye and blew a humph up her nose.

"My name is Valina, and I'm your roommate from now on."

Valina?

Sigh...

What is going on in this world?

Although I linked Vali to this Azazel's daughter, I never expected it to be really him... her.

Since when is Vali a woman?

"It must be your influence in this world, which is changing some events in this world."

Dude... it's one thing to change events, it's quite another to change the genre of one of the main characters in the plot.

Now is not the time for you to shut up, old man.

Sigh...

"The pleasure is mine-Nyaa, my name is Kuroka-Nyaa, and I'm Drako's future mate."

Kuroka steps forward and introduces herself to the girl. She has a dangerous look on her face and seems to have marked Valina as her enemy.

Valina looks at her sideways, and her eyes start to glow.

"Nekomata, will you fight me?"

From the sweet voice came a tone so unimaginably belligerent that one could feel the spirit of struggle. Despite having such a small body, something incomparably sinister was surging from her body.

There is no doubt, this child is Vali but in a female version.

By the way, I'm going to examine Valina's statistics.

She's strong. In many of her statistics, she's even superior to Kuroka. Her level is lower than Kuroka's, but she's much stronger. I wonder if her power level is comparable to that of an Ultimate Class or not.

"It's not. Her magic power is on the verge of Ultimate Class, but it doesn't come to that. If they were to fight, Kuroka would win through her use of Senjutsu and Youjutsu, along with her magic power that is superior to that of a weak Ultimate Class Devil."

(if you want to know more about the levels of power you can go to the auxiliary chapters of , there everything is explained)

Your reasoning is fine, old man, but you haven't taken into account one factor. If she uses her Sacred Gear, she can easily beat Kuroka.

"She needs to touch Kuroka to use her Divine Dividing."

Not if she uses the Balance Breaker.

"As far as I can see, she can't use her Balance Breaker."

I wonder how you know so many things.

…..

Well, don't answer if you don't want to.

"Ahem, my name is Drako, nice to meet you."

I get between the two girls. I don't want them to start a battle right now.

Valina turned her Kuroka gaze on me and squinted.

"You're a dragon... but you're weak. I have no interest in fighting you."

She sure is direct.

"Yes, yes, I'm weak, but I'm also hungry. Do you know if there's anything to eat?"

I have my priorities clear, and my current priority is to fill my stomach.

"You don't get angry if I call you weak, you have no pride. Are you really a dragon? But my partner tells me you're a real dragon. You're the first dragon I've seen, but you're very different from what I've read about dragons."

Valina approaches me as she talks, to the point where we are barely separated by an invisible barrier of a few centimetres.

I'm really hungry, I don't want to waste my time arguing with a little girl.

"Whatever you say, lady. Why are you so obsessed with fighting."

"Humph."

That's what you get for an answer.

I flicked Valina's forehead with my finger.

"What are you doing? Forget it. As for your question... In case we are going to join hands, being aware of the true power of a partner is a natural right. In any case, the fact that someone is a weak impediment has proven to be intolerable."

Join hands? Why would we do that?

"Well, we'll have time for that. Let's go to dinner."

Valina looks at me up and down a couple of times before turning around and walking to one of the rooms.

"Okay, I was waiting for you guys to do that anyway."

Valina turned around and went into one of the rooms, and we followed her into the room.

The room is a traditional kitchen, with a place to cook, a place to wash the dishes and a fridge. There are numerous cupboards where I suppose the utensils and ingredients are kept, and a table in the center of the room.

There is no need to prepare dinner, as there are already three bowls prepared on the table. As for what's inside the bowls...

"Ramen?"

The question comes out of my mouth unconsciously.

"This is the phosphorus food 'Welsh Onion Miso Ramen'. It's special."

Do you have Naruto syndrome?

"A-ah, let's eat."

"Do you only eat ramen-Nyaa? Everything that smells from this room is ramen."

From what Kuroka said, I think I can confirm that Valina/Vali has Naruto syndrome. I mean, she can only eat ramen.
