The riot continued, with the sounds of frustrated screams and a creature roar breaking the silence of the night. Gavin and his companions were locked in a fierce battle against Amphiptere.
The awakeners' morale collapsed. They were battered and helpless in the face of its savagery. Not a single attack worked against this winged monster.
The fighters couldn't do much because Amphitere was flying. They could not reach it and had to wait for Amphitere to fly low. Only a few B-Class awakeners could jump high but every time they did, Amphitere flapped its wings, summoning a whirlwind to sweep them away.
They relied on the casters as damage dealers. However, these awakeners in a similar situation. Amphitere moved dynamically. This winged monster always twisted and turned when the casters launched elemental attacks. They had to aim accurately if they wanted to land damage on Amphitere, but that did not guarantee it would leave a wound.
It was a harf battle, filled with loss and deep sorrow.
"Where's Gavin!? Where is Noah? Why did everyone gone!!"
"Healer! I need a healer!"
"Hold on! Stand your fucking ground!"
As Gavin looked around him, he realized that several of his comrades had fallen in this fierce battle. They were fighting desperately against Amphiptere, but the enemy was too strong.
Gavin knew that he had to continue this battle for the sake of victory and for the sake of those who had sacrificed.
He took a bottle of blue liquid from his pocket and downed it. As the liquid down his throat, blue lights emanated from his body. The wounds all over his body gradually shrank and eventually disappeared.
Gavin had just drunk the [High Quality Potion]. All the wounds on his body were healed.
"Damn it! I wish 'this shit' didn't bother me! I would've killed that damn thing."
Gavin squeezed his left abdomen. There were black streaks spreading across the skin hidden under the clothes. It was not the wound left by Amphitere but something that had been there for a long time, and the potion he had drunk could not healed it.
However, this was no reason to give up.
With burning strength, Gavin took a step forward. He tried to summon the lightning element even more powerfully.
The ground trembled beneath his feet, the wind swirled rapidly around him, and sparks of lightning flashed on his sword. Gavin felt the mana vibrations traversing his body, giving him unshakable strength.
"I kill you,!"
Gavin moved quickly, leaping to the side to avoid Amphiptere's shrill attack. In an instant, he countered with an accurate counterattack, slashing the creature's head off with one skillful move.

Yellow lightning fiercely struck as he landed the sword on its body. Unfortunately, there were no wounds on Amphiptere.
"Damn it!"
Gavin did not give up. He launched another round of attacks. Powerful lightning burst inside his body, striking Amphitere every time he swung his sword.
Blast! Blast! Blast!
"Arrrrrghhh!"

A roar of rage shook the air. Amphitere did not stay still as it was subjected to successive slashes and lightning bolts. It flew high, swerving through the air while its huge wings flapped.
Wooosh! Wooosh! Wooosh!
As whirlwinds were drawing closer, Gavin immediately expelled more lightning from his body and darted away.
"Arrrrgggg!"
He managed to dodge, but not the others. Dozens of awakeners were carried away by the tornado as they tried to escape. Unfortunately, the wind was faster than their pace.
"Arrrgghhh! Damn it!"
Gavin was furious as he saw his men being swept away by the wind. He expelled more mana and attacked the creature.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Swooosh!
The mist enveloping the mountain grew thicker, reducing visibility to almost nil. Amphitere and the lightning man exchanged attacks
The longer they fought, the more it became apparent which one of them was starting to tire.
"Fuck," Gavin groaned through his teeth.
Blood rushed from the wounds caused by Amphiptere's sharp teeth and claws running down his culottes. Gavin felt fatigue creeping up his body, and he had already spent a lot of [Potion] and [Ether] throughout the fight.
The monster became more brutal as the battle entered the critical stage. It continued to launch deadly attacks, forcing Gavin and his comrades to defend tenaciously. Their blood pouring out, and their spirits began to fade. If they continued in this situation, it was only a matter of time before they were doomed.
Gavin gritted his teeth in frustration.
"Looks like I have to give it my all."
Lightning enveloped his entire body, blazing bright yellow amidst the white mist. Then, Gavin leapt determinedly towards Amphiptere, and it did not notice him coming.
"Hyaaaaa!"
Boom!
In his ultimate attack, his sword pierced the creature's heart.
But that's only in his imagination.
"!!!"
Gavin was wide-eyed. His sword was unable to penetrate Amphitere's scales. Of course this left him in shock.
"No way..."
Naturally, Amphitere wagged its tail, throwing Gavin to the ground.
Thud!
"Keeeugh! Damn it!"
Dust scattered as Gavin was slammed into the ground. The mouth vomited bloods, and the bones wrapped in flesh were crushed. Intense pain crawled across his body as he tried to move. The situation got worse with no more [Potions] left.
KRIIIIIEEEKK!
Amphitere loudly roared, vibrating the air as if declaring its victory.
At the same time, the defeated and battered awakeners were in despair. Although they fought with great determination, the winged creature's power was too great for them to fight. There was no way for them to win this battle.
"We are finished."
Weapons fell to the ground. The awakeners resigned themselves to their fate.
In the midst of that despair, the rapid footsteps could be heard drawing closer. A new group of awakeners appeared amidst the thick fog.
"Akio! Olivia! Distract that monster! Fighters take up defensive positions! Protect the casters with your lives no matter what!"
A clear voice echoed through the air. Klaus came along with a hundred awakeners behind them. With a confident smile, he led them into battle against Amphitere that had reached its limit.
KRIIIIIEEEEKK!
The snake-shaped monster with wings went berserk at the appearance of Klaus and his men. It flapped its wings to summon whirlwinds, but they quickly vanished as they had just been summoned.
"Good! Keep bothering the monster!" Klaus' voice echoed through the air.
Justin led the casters in disrupting the airflow. Wind was the ultimate weapon of Amphitere. they could neutralize whirlwinds by manipulating the air around the monster.
As Amphitere was in confusion, duo of swordsmen shot into the air.
"Die you fucking monster!"
Slash! Slash! Slash!

Akio and Olivia moved with lightning speed, swinging their swords with incredible skill. Their attacks blended together, cutting Amphiptere's wounds and slamming into its body with full force. Thanks to Olivia's [Psychokinesis], they could both attack, fly, and dodge the incoming attacks simultaneously.
Splat! Splat! Splat! Splat! Splat!
The combination of their attacks made Amphitere scream in pain. Akio with the [Stacked Damage] talent and a sword arcana capable of dealing 100% critical damage became a nightmare for Amphitere.
KRIEEEEKKK!
Klaus waved his hand and gave the signal for the casters to attack. They unleashed various elemental attacks as Akio and Olivia landed a flurry of damages. And of course, the guild master didn't just stay still. Justin used his ice magic skillfully, freezing part of Amphitere's body in a deadly ice wrap.
Seeing that the monster could still survive the onslaught of his men's attacks, Klaus needed to increase their combat power.
"Sylvia! Help Akio and Olivia!"
"Okay!"
Sylvia jumped high and helped her two comrades defeat Amphitere, attacking with devastating blows.

The monster was pushed back. Michael stood at the casters, blocking the incoming whirlwinds with his sturdy body. Meanwhile, Joanna diligently healed the wounds suffered by her comrades.
"Well, it looks like that damn thing is going to die soon," Klaus muttered.
He was standing right next to Gavin who was in bad shape. The man was unconscious and his body was covered in bruises.
Amphitere was completely overwhelmed. It was only a matter of time until it was all over.
Slash! Splast!

Akio managed to cut off one of its wings. The monster could no longer fly and bobbed in the air. Of course, he wasn't going to waste the opportunity before his eyes.
"Let me kill this monster!" Akio exclaimed.
In a very measured move, he attacked with full force. His sword pierced the creature's heart, causing a loud roar and inevitable death.
KRIEEEEEKKKKK!
Amphiptere's body fell heavily, marking the end of its threat.
The remaining Awakeners fell silent, dumbfounded by the heroic action they had witnessed. Klaus and his group had come just in time to save them from certain defeat.
"It's dead..."
"Who is he? How could he defeat a monster that Gavin couldn't defeat."
"Who cares. What matters is that we win."
The battle was over, and the rocky mountain that had been shrouded in silence was now filled with cheers of victory.
