Back in their room, Mei Yan cautiously glanced outside to make sure Wang Yue hadn’t followed them to eavesdrop and cause trouble. Once he was sure, he closed the door.
The little child tried to act like adults, heaving a sigh of relief and patting his chest. “Sister, you were really amazing just now! That old lady kept slandering Mom. I’ve disliked her for a long time! It was so satisfying to see you hit her!”
