Chapter 195 - Only If I Get Fooled.

In a few moments, the horse found itself off guard and in that exact moment, Brina signalled Charlotte. 

When Charlotte inserted the needle, the horse neighed but Brina held the reins firm and continued caressing it's face, soothing it from its pain.

She doesn't like inflicting pain when it comes to innocent animals, but this time she simply didn't have any other option. What she was thinking has come true.

"Done!" Charlotte informed, sighing in relief. Hailey breathed too, before lowering her guard. Brina looked into the horse's eyes and caressed it's head.

"You will be fine soon" she said and then shifted her attention to her friend's.

"Safeguard it guys. Don't let anyone know about what we did, because it's against laws of the game. We are going to use this evidence only if I get fooled during the game, got it?" she said.

Charlotte nodded her head. Sometimes she couldn't even comprehend whether Brina is really one person or two! Few times she will look like she is totally outstanding and out of the world.

She doesn't look like a commoner - not even by a bit. But at other times, she is totally like a normal girl who craves for her boyfriend's pampering, looking all delicate and simple. Her mental state will be totally fragile unlike now.

"Brina, why are we doing this? What do you mean by fooled?" Charlotte asked. But before Brina could answer, they noticed the guards walking to them.

The chief pressed his fist on his chest and saluted. "Your majesty has asked all the ladies to assemble them at the entrance along with their horses. Lady Brina, your presence is requested as well" he politely said.

Brina pursed her lips but nodded her head. She gave a understanding nod to Charlotte and Hailey before following the chief.

"Olivia, I hope you will not disappoint me like your mother and aunt" her maternal grandfather warned Olivia on the phone. 

His two daughters have attended the bride selection of King Edgar and with his help and influence they got first among all other six members. However, they utterly failed to attain the love of King Edgar.

In both his marriages, he didn't select the lady of House Omien, the House which is no longer the part of Kingdom now. 

"You did your best in previous competitions, but that bastard Ethan eloped. And, I am warning you this time, I will not go easy if any mishap happens in this competition. You becoming 'Queen' is most important for us to continue with my plan, so be attentive, woman" he told her. 

Olivia pursed her lips and gulped her saliva. "Thanks for today's help, grandfather. I will not let anyone win, step over me" she said, her approach resembling a tamed pet.

"If you would have kept your fiancé in your control and tamed him with your love, all this mess wouldn't have happened, Olivia! Ethan was easier to control and use, compared to Prince Edward. I am warning you again, TAME the Prince with your charm and tie him to you so that he will only select YOU! Coming first is not only our objective but also making Prince select you, got it?" He asked her over the phone, emphasizing each word for her.

Olivia nodded her head. She knows how important it is to become Queen for her maternal family and father.

A huge rebellion of history is about to take place! 

"Yes, grandfather. I will keep it in my mind" she promised. 

Yesterday night, her grandfather forced Queen mother Greta into pushing Louis to have blind dinner date with Olivia. However it took another way around and Louis totally got rash and unfriendly with her.

This infuriated her grandfather's anger but why is she the one to take that blame? She has tried her level best to act all coquettish and 'caring' however, Louis was like a piece of wood.

Moreover, it seems as if he was in a bad mood and it had made him totally unpredictable.

She couldn't gauze his reactions and in turn ended up making him angry. In addition to this, she is not the one to blame when it comes to Ethan as well.

Though she tried to get intimate with him and make him sexually bound to her, he avoided her as if she was a plague that would kill him. He would simply lock himself in his room whenever they were alone.

So, when did she get a chance to take control over him? Seems like the Royal family men are in odds with the her family's women!

Brina almost stopped in her tracks when she saw Louis standing beside his father. Though it has just been a day they felt as if month's have passed. 

All this longing, lack of quality time is making them crave more and more for each other. In fact, these few days have deepened their love more than anyone could imagine. 

These circumstances are binding their hearts more strongly. Meanwhile, when Louis noticed his girlfriend, for a split second he almost felt his self control shatter apart.

His legs have almost betrayed him in a fervent desperation to take her into his arms and claim her with a passionate and emotional kiss, however, thanks to his sister, he was brought back into the bitter reality. 

He took a deep breath and controlled his overwhelming emotions.

He often wonders why Brina has this much of a humongous impact on him. Is one day away from her is enough to make him go nuts and lose his controlled self?

However, he is even keen that he couldn't keep his mind in not thinking about her, even for a split second.

After a brief talk, Brina, Olivia and other contestants took their places on the lane and the rest of the others took their seats in the biggest and most secure balcony.

Even the countrymen and other citizens have come to see but were allowed only under strict orders and rules.

"Sister in law, seems to be a little off today, have you noticed it brother?" Eliina asked her brother

"Yes. Even I am wondering what happened to her. She seems a little dazed and weak" he told.

Eliina pursed her lips. Her sister in law got Golden Hungarian horse, just like she predicted!
