Chapter 290 - The Vows

And, thus,  they decided to go with standard arrangements.

….

"Do you both pledge to share your lives with each other and to speak the truth in the name of love? Do you promise to honor and tenderly care for one another, cherish and encourage each other?"

"And to stand together through sorrows and joys, hardships and triumphs for all the days of your lives?" the priest asked.

"Yes, we do," Brina and Louis said together as they looked at each other lovingly.

"Do you pledge to share your love and the joys of marriage with all those around you, so that they might learn from your love and be encouraged to grow in their own lives?" the priest continued.

"Yes, we promise" the couple answered.

"May these rings be blessed as a symbol of your union. As often as either of you look upon these rings, may you not only be reminded of this moment but also the love you share and the strength of your commitment to each other" the Priest said.

As soon as he said that, the ring bearer brought the rings forward and both of the bride and groom took the rings into their hands.

"Edward, please repeat after me" the priest said.

"I, Edward, promise to love and support you and live each day with kindness, love, truth, passion and understanding. With this ring I thee wed"

Louis : [He repeats the vows and he takes Brina's hand into his hand. When he pronounced the last sentence, he gently slid the ring to her ring finger with a smile blooming on his face.]

Meanwhile, a tear rolled down Brina's cheek. This moment truly felt magical. She felt grateful for having this marriage rather than the simple wedding which they thought before.

Priest : Brina, repeat after me.

The Priest repeated the same words as what he spoke while making Louis's repeat the vows. And, when he finished, Brina repeated the words and slid down the ring on Louis's finger with her eyes glued on to Louis's face, which is now glowing with love and other overwhelming, unfathomable feelings.

After finishing the ring exchanging ritual, the priest continued.

"Go now in peace and live in love, share the most precious gifts you have - the gifts of your lives united. And, may your days  be long on this earth."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" the priest said as he took a step backward after his last word.

At the same time Louis stepped forward, now standing right infront of his bride. With a wide smile brightening his face just like his shining eyes, he slowly removed the veil covering her face.

He stopped for a slightest second as he gazed at the red face and glistening eyes of his wife.

Brina felt his greyish black eyes boring into her delicate eyes. At that moment nothing mattered to her as his warm lips engulfed her cold and soft lips.

All she could feel was his love and passion for her. With her eyes closed she reciprocated his kiss with equal passion and emotion.

Louis parted only after realizing that many eyes are looking at them now.

'I can kiss her with my heart content later' he thought and chuckled.

With his arms still wound around her waist, Louis whispered, "I love you, wife"

"I love you more, hubby" Brina replied with a smile adoring her face.

….

Later, Brina and Louis walked out of church, hand in hand.

As soon as Brina stepped out of church, she looked back, just to see all the girls standing to catch the bouquet.

Giggling, she turned back. Without seeing, she threw it back, just for it to fall in Katherine's hands.

She wanted Katherine to get it.

Turning back, Brina looked at Katherine with a teasing smile on her face. "I await for your marriage" she said, for which Katherine rolled her eyes.

"Don't tease me. I don't even have a boyfriend in the first place" she said, shaking her head.

Others couldn't help but chuckle seeing the friends banter.

Louis tightened his arm around Brina's lower back as they walked out.

There is full security and the red carpet is rolled down on the floor, all through the Limousine waiting for them.

On either side of the carpet, the Royal soldiers stood stiff, everyone in their uniforms and all their badges attached to their uniform.

All the way, on both sides, they held her swords up in a third degree angle, holding it outwards, so that the tips of their swords were in touching distance with the tips of their opposite soldier on the other side of the red carpet.

That's a standard procedure in which the military of the Kingdom express their good wish to the new Royal couple.

Louis and Brina walked under the formed line of swords. As soon as they reached the white bullet proof Limousine which is decorated with flowers, the guard walked to them in a military style and saluted before opening the door for them.

Louis helped Brina to climb inside, before he boarded it.

The door got closed and the black jaguars surrounded the Limousine in a perfect organization.

They are for protection all the way to the palace.

….

Meanwhile, as soon as Louis sat down and the door got closed, Louis pulled Brina into his arms.

His lips roughly crashed into her red lips as he started kissing her passionately and with a new domination.

At first Brina was surprised but soon started reciprocating it with new found Hunger.

She has never been away from him for this long. She has been craving for this private moment to satiate her longing.

A moan escaped her lips as he slid his tongue into her sweet mouth and started exploring every corner of it. He is overly dominant and hasty, but she loved it.

Louis couldn't hold anymore as he pressed his body against hers, as if kneading their bodies together into one.

When Brina felt herself lying on the soft cushions of the seat and Louis hovering on her, her fingers went for his hair as she held his head, intensifying the kiss.
