29 Origin Martial Technique 1

Felicity didn't argue with Lucas as she knows that Lucas is also knowledgeable or at least responsible for himself. She simply silently gazed at him with a pondering face, seemingly still unable to understand him.

However, unbeknownst to her, she was affected by Lucas's personality. She became fierce, doubtful, and more sensitive, unlike her past self before she was betrayed.

"You don't suspect her of something?" Felicity mumbled to Lucas while on the way to another shop.

"I suspect her. And it clearly proves that she is a mysterious individual." Lucas answered.

"Then why did you accept her offer?" Felicity asked as she was really curious about what was happening inside Lucas's mind.

Lucas just smirked and assured her worries were unfounded. "Because of the 3 robes. The knowledge I can get there, it's important."

"But I can just teach you. I know things too!"

"You are not from this realm. Do you think all of your knowledge can be applied here?" Lucas asked, almost sounding like a father who was skeptical of his daughter's actions.

When Felicity heard it, her head lowered, realizing that her idea had a loophole.

It might be true that she has different knowledge, but it couldn't be said that all of her knowledge could be used here since she obviously felt the difference in Qi in the Mortal Realm and Celestial Heaven.

It also applies to why they need money to buy some technique. Since Felicity is practicing different cultivation techniques, she doesn't know other techniques that can benefit Lucas.

Thus, the decision of visiting Morning Sun City also came from that idea, but it was built first in her subconscious, just unaware that she already thought of it.

Felicity sighed in defeat. She can't really have to argue with Lucas. Not only he was more mature than her, but he was also wiser than her.

'I even question why I suggested assisting him to ascend," she mumbles inwardly.

Sometime later, they finally reached a shop to buy resources and techniques for Lucas's cultivation.

"Golden Pavilion?" Lucas mumbled with his eyebrows slightly raised.

Lucas just entered the building.

"Welcome, esteemed customer, to the Golden Pavilion." A staff greeted them.

Lucas instinctively asked why the name of the shop sounded familiar to Saber City's Golden Pavilion.

"Hm…? Why does this shop have the same name as Saber City's Golden Pavilion?" Lucas asked.

"It is because Golden Pavilion has different branches." the staff answered with his head slightly bowed.

"I see…" then he continued entering the building.

It was just like in Saber City. However, the space was slightly wide, and the tallness is slightly higher than Saber City's.

"Is this shop familiar to you, Lucas?" Felicity asked.

Felicity is currently in her disguised appearance, as she doesn't want to attract attention.

Lucas looked at her in the corner of his eyes, then nodded. "Yes, this is familiar to me. I visited another branch of this shop, and it was there where I bought my cultivation technique."

Felicity looked at him with anticipation. "Is your cultivation technique somewhat special or high-grade?"

"Nope." he immediately answered. "It was just an advanced basic cultivation technique. What was it?... Spiritual Gathering Technique?"

Felicity's jaw almost dropped. How did a bland technique help him cultivate quickly? Is there anything that he has in his body to result in that way? She just thought that it was a result of a unique or special cultivation technique.

As there are different cultivation techniques that benefit the cultivator's aptitude, there are also cultivation techniques that find a special ability in the cultivator's body.

If it wasn't the case, does this mean that he has a blessed body?

"Do you have a Blessed Constitutional Body?" she asked.

"What's that?" Lucas asked with his eyes showing curiosity.

"It's an ability that people are born with. For example, Abnormal Strong Mentality, which makes a person born with it resistant to illusions or mental attacks." Felicity explained.

Felicity's explanation led to another discovery for Lucas. It was how much of a difference between magic and cultivation there was. There are still things that match up.

'So, having a blessed passive ability is a constitutional body here?' he thought while his right hand was below his jaw.

"You can say that I have one," Lucas said with a mysterious smile.

Then, they went to the martial technique section, where Lucas was looking for a bland martial art. Well, what he meant by 'bland' was an average type of technique. Something that no one would really like to buy.

Lucas approached a female staff member of the shop. "Is there an average technique here? I'm looking for something generic like a type of martial technique, " he said, making the staff perplexed.

The staff looked at him from top to bottom, then smiled attentively. "There is, young sir, but it is really not recommended for you. I believe it is better for you to learn a martial technique, either Earth-grade or Heaven-grade. If best, Celestial-heaven." she said cheerfully.

Felicity just looked at her secretly with disdain in her eyes.

'Is she trying to please him? Or trying to impress him with her suggestions? What a bitch.' she unconsciously cussed and snapped after realizing it.

Lucas, on the other hand, just smiled awkwardly. "Well… it might be good, but I am looking for something flexible. My companion here only knows the best type of technique, but I think it won't be suitable for me since I don't cultivate unique techniques."

The staff widens her eyes in surprise. She felt as if she hit a jackpot when she unexpectedly got a sincere reply. This is her first time!

"Is it true? Then… I will recommend you something average but still special. If you are practicing an average cultivation technique, then you must have pure talent." the staff said before reaching a particular shelf. Then she took a book with thin pages.

"This…" she handed it to Lucas.

"What's this?" he instinctively asked, then read some description. When he had a grasp of the contents, his eyes unconsciously widened in surprise.

"This is…"

"Hm…?" Felicity took an interest in what Lucas was holding.

"That is an average bare-hands martial technique. It is said that it's too bland that no one can even use what the description was saying and deemed as fake. It's still in the shop since the master of the shop wants to keep it."

However, it wasn't the case for Felicity. She unconsciously grabbed the technique from Lucas. With her face in surprise, her hands were also trembling.

"How could this technique exist in lower heaven?" she mumbled.

"What's wrong?" Lucas asked.

Felicity looked at him with flickering eyes. "Buy this. This is only a bland technique, but it is powerful enough to be flexible for any weapon practitioner!"

"Is that special? Why do you know it?" Lucas asked.

"It's because this is an origin martial technique! Buy this, and I will explain it to you!" she hissed at him while keeping her excitement.

"Okay. Okay, I get it," he said before looking back at the staff.

"Thank you. I will buy this." Then they left the area.

The staff just sighed and thought, 'Although he is already taken, I hope I can get a chance to talk to him. He is so friendly! Unlike those arrogant young masters.'
