23 Knight and Demon duo

Takashi held his breath at the sight of many zombies that started heading toward the little girl direction. Her crying voice was loud enough to attract perhaps hundreds meter far zombies, and the quantity was suffocating.

He wanted to help the girl immediately but knowing the risk of doing it made him hesitate. It's impossible to reach her position without jeopardizing the group current safe house. And how he should rescue the girl if he couldn't even protect his own group from the danger.

Takashi stuck deep inside his own dilemma, such he couldn't possibly let the girl died but also hated to act on his own selfish intention.

Time was dire, minutes by minutes the zombies encroached upon the girl's direction, he couldn't stand the thought of curling up in the safe environment yet at the outside, a little girl was about to become someone's snack.

Takashi made up his mind, even if he would get berated by the entire team or got punched in the guts from the blue haired senior, he was going to save the girl, regardless the consequent.

"Hir-"

*Bang!*

Before he managed to finish the call, Kohta already fixed his stance on the edge of the balcony, the long barrel from his sniper rifle had long hovered above the rail, a mouth of fierce dragon aimed toward the girl's position but not to grant her mercy to leave the world but gave her another chance to taste the living hell.

Two sharp ammo flew in the air, struck fiercely three zombies' head that lined up together, blowing up their forehead before the rotten hands touched even just the hair of the girl.

The roar of the gun pulled many hungry eyes toward the house, they caught the glimpse of three dinner menu up above the balcony and became hoarding the house's fence, which luckily a concrete cement.

"Oi Hirano..." Takashi's voice turned serious.

"What?" the fellow gun mania student replied coolly.

"What happen with being low key?"

"That's a little girl you know! Are you for real?!"

"Hayate-senpai would get mad..." Takashi turned his face and tilted his head toward Fujimura who shut his eyes tight.

"Well screw it, even if he hack me to death, I am still going to save that Loli!" Kohta showed a brief terrified eyes before they turned fierce and filled with conviction.

"And I know I am not the only one!"

Takashi chuckled as he put down the binocular and turned around.

"And what plan do you have? Just going straight up to the horde?" Fujimura finally opened his mouth.

"If that what it's take, then bring it on..." he didn't stop his feet.

"A squire with proper plan have a better chance of survival than a knight who rush foolishly to the enemy," Fujimura straightened his back, approaching Takashi from behind.

"It's not about survival but saving a life..." this time he ceased his motion.

"What good does it do, trading one life for another soul that not even could survive on her own?"

"Because I am not thinking about the reward, or investment, or any other beneficial thing. All I want is getting her out of there and let the sun light downed upon her even for just a day."

Takashi and Fujimura faced each other with serious eyes, brown dark clashed with deep crimson. No one showed the willingness to give up, or yield under the stare of opposite party.

"Komuro-kun you need to hurry, it's getting many that swarmed the girl!" from the balcony behind, Kohta yelled out with a loud bang shoot to kill one zombie.

"Then let's make sure you see that moment with the pair of your own eyes," Fujimura finally spoke first.

"Eh?" the junior startled.

"Hirano make sure you cover our assess, if I see one bullet miss a head, you better prepare your own ass after I return!" Fujimura strode beside his shoulder.

"Senpai, don't make a threat like that!!!" the poor fat boy drenched his cheek with anime tears.

"Hayate-senpai?" Takashi still looked at with unbelievable expression.

"Well, what do you waiting for? Men's gotta work, right, Mr. Knight?" he opened the door and went ahead.

Takashi blinked in daze for several seconds than he grinned with excitement.

"Yeah!"

Soon in the first floor, Fujimura already prepared his gear, he currently held Kotetsu and body clad in leather armor. Takashi just had the metal baseball in his hand.

"Takashi, you shouldn't go alone like this..." Rei stood beside him and grabbed his sleeve. The commotion outside had awoken the previous collapse women and now they stared at the two people in worry.

"I am not, Hayate-senpai is with me..." he wryly smiled and scratched his cheek.

"I know but still..." the brown haired woman declined her face in depression.

While the two pair of love birds singing the chirp of concern. Another pair not far from them spoke the deep emotion with their own not so romantic way.

"Should we prepare the escape path when you got back?"

"Make that the plan B, maybe I can kill half of them, then lured them out from the complex, we can still maintain this house for quite sometimes," Fujimura carelessly replied while swinging the long katana for the sake of warming up.

"You look enthusiast, are you sure this is about saving the girl?" Saeko chuckled.

"You know me, since when I am a hero material," he raised his shoulder halfway.

"Well, for whatever reason, make sure you bring them back alive."

"Oh? You hope for Komuro to come back but not me? What is this?" he curled his lips in a teasing manner.

"Don't twist my words with your twisted brain, I just hope no one got harm, and I know you would come back safely," Saeko rolled her eyes while crossing her arms.

"Beside, they make a cute couple," she glanced to the side and looked at Takashi that surprisingly hugged Rei's waist then kissed her lips passionately. The brown haired woman responded in the same fervor.

At the living room, Saya twitched her eyes in jealousy while Shizuka giggled at the young couple.

"God, it's like watching that shitty glowing vampire's romance movie," Fujimura grumbled.

"Oh, you finally got to say 'God', this is certainly a development," the purple haired woman looked surprise.

"Meh, the dead now walk the earth, might as well believe the gods also exist."

Takashi and Rei finally separated, their face was basking in each other taste.

"You done lover boy? Come, we got a work to do," Fujimura strode ahead while holding Kotetsu beside his waist.

Takashi nodded, after making a promise with Rei that he will be back, he dashed following Fujimura's trail.

Third main objective: Save the girl!

Get the mysterious girl to the safety!

primary mission:

1. Do not let girl get killed, or bitten.

secondary mission:

1. ???

2. ???

3. ???

*Fail to fulfill the primary mission will instantly get you a

*Fail to fulfill the secondary mission will not get you an extra reward.

Of course, the reason why Fujimura got excited was nothing more than the commencing of the third stage. Since he got such a low score in the second one, he had this desire to strike a golden mark for this one. Remembering the secret mission ridiculous fulfillment such as drinking potion, he stuffed one small potion and one small stimulant in his pocket. Also with no one except Takashi, he can go on rampage as like as he can without have any worry they got injured or not. Beside, Kohta can backup Takashi whenever he's not paying attention, thus easing his burden.

The plan was simple, while Fujimura was on killing spree and attracted the attention of many of them, Takashi would rush his way to save the girl. Since no distance limit he must consider with the main cast, Fujimura can move away as far as he can.

He equipped Saeko and Takashi as party member, Saeko for the sake of her innate which is Katana proficient and Takashi for his boost in endurance. This way, he got more stamina than he ever expected.

You don't really need extra Strength to beat up these mindless and fragile creature, just a large amount of stamina and weapon with considerable range.

Fujimura climbed the fence and looked down the crowd of dead who swarmed the place like a bunch of ants, he inevitably sneered as he raised Kotetsu in his hands. The zombies had brought their arms up and attempted to seize the blue haired young man, but he just out of their reach.

Fujimura thought he just like those singer who stood above the stage and adored by their fans. His ears picked more loud bang from Kohta's sniper barrel, it seemed our fatty boy was on the guns-ho mode.

He walked along the fence line before found a good spot to land, then he jumped, safely arrived at his destination with both legs bent and Kotetsu marvelously stretched to his side.

In the blink of eyes, before those monster recognized a free buffet just like that delivered to them, he dashed forward and swung his oversized lengthy blade.

*Puchi!* *Puchi!* *Puchi!*

Three head stumbled from its bodies yet before they managed to hit the ground, his blade already made another clean sweep.

Without had any worry about any sort of person welfare, Fujimura released every desire he had to kill on each swing of his blade.

Kotetsu just like a tiger that pounced on its prey, its surface had glistened with bloody liquid and grey meat of its victim.

Fujimura took a step back and diagonally slashed one monster, detaching half of it into the air then he followed up by jumping into the air, rolled his body as Kotetsu vertically but the zombie in the middle.

His combo bar filled like a jet plane punched through the sky, without him noticing, his level already reached five.

And yes, he took off that Attack boost, in this situation, he preferred to have Attribute boost instead.

Fujimura felt his body getting lighter for each time he leveled up, his stamina was so abundant like a horse. He kept running forward with no slightest intention on stopping his blade from mincing these monster like helpless pigs they are.

Takashi sat atop his motorcycle in dazed expression, so did the rest of the party who see this, Saeko licked her lips and she felt excited seeing many bloods caused by that blue haired young man. Her mind rolled back at their passionate half-bake activity in the kitchen and her legs shivered in the process.

Unlike back at the path before the bridge where there were so many wrecked cars. This street was clean from any obstruction, his blade could sway freely without have any worry that it might clashed against something uncutable.

He stopped before one zombie, slashing its two arms that try to grab him and finished it with a kick to its body.

He moved pass beside the house's gate where the little girl reside, stabbing one zombie on its chest then raised upward Kotetsu, slicing the head along the way.

Soon he got surrounded by many of them but no fear put him in cower, it's not the confident about Kohta who will save him out from this predicament, but the confident with his skill instead.

Weapon skill precisely.

Kotetsu blinked with dark color and went into his back, creating an arc that decapitated the enemy on his back, then he put his strength to seize the control of the blade and swung it to kill the zombies in the front.

Unlike ashura random , this skill of kotetsu can be directed which way he wanted to use it, but it require a tremendous of strength to regain the control of the blade afterward, that's why the attribute boost played a major role in this.

Heh, turn out strength was needed after all.

After killing his surrounding with one move, he hoofed again to another group of zombie and had a bloody corpse party with them. Only if there was a little girl zombie with them, then it will make a perfect spin-off!

Takashi walked toward the girl's location, yeah, why would he even required a motor cycle anyway, the monster around pretty much aggravated by Fujimura onslaught and they major attention now is the blue haired senior. It's the sound of his blade that slice the ground that created all of those ruckus.

He went to the house, and saw the girl crouched at the furthest side of the wall, looking scared.

"Hey, it's fine... the monsters is dead now, Onii-san take you somewhere save, key?" he bent low his body and offered his hand to the cute child.

The girl had a red hair that reached up to her neck and rounded face outline.

"That... that blue hair brother... is scary... far more terrifying than the monster..." her body trembled.

Takashi could only sigh and bitterly laugh.

"Yeah, he is a demon..."
