Even while Aoi was cooking, I made some time to study hard. Today, I became able to solve the problems that I didn’t understand till yesterday.
Although I used to think super–trainer–mode Aoi as a demon instructor, I know that I am definitely improving. In the end, after studying until 3:30 AM, I decided to go to sleep.
“Good night.”
“Ahh, good night, see you in the morning.”
About two hours later—at 6:00 AM—my room’s intercom rang, and Aoi came.
Aoi stayed up with me until I went to bed; nevertheless, she came to me in a ready state at 6:00 AM. Doesn’t this mean she barely had any sleep?
I wonder if it is really okay for Aoi to keep accompanying me?
“Rin-kun, I am sorry for being late.”
“Please don’t worry about it. Were you able to rest a little?”
“Yes, I am alright now. So, let’s study hard together again.”
“Then, I’ll be counting on you.”
The test period passed just like that, but personally, I think I did well at surviving the record-breaking overnight cramming sessions.
And then, the test results came out, and Aoi was ranked 4th in our grade.
As expected of Aoi, even though she just seemed to be spending her time with me.
As for me, I ranked 54th.
I was in 68th place last time. But, my rank went up this time, although I only started studying right before the test.
It is all thanks to Aoi’s super crash course.
Though I am really grateful, if I continue with this studying method, I will probably die someday. So, I intend to study little by little every day from now on.
Because Aoi always came to pick me up at my classroom every day during the test period, it became known throughout the class that there was some relationship between Aoi and me, but nobody came to ask me anything.
On the contrary, it seemed some people went to ask Aoi, but I found out later that every time she was asked, Aoi just smiled and answered, “We are partners.”
“Aoi, I’m going to shoot! [Lightning] [Explosion] [Ice Javelin]”
The moment I defeated an orc by rapid firing a series of skills –
“Ooh! My level rose!”
“Congratulations, is it level 7 now?”
“Yes, it is!”

“It would be great if I am an original quintuple skills-holder, but I am just a fake in the end.”
“That isn’t true. Rin-kun’s skills are derivations born from the original skill called [Faker]. They are not fake but Rin-kun’s splendid originals.”
