Chapter 22: Quest Completed! Lust Meter!?

Jason ran up the door but he realized that Rachel was erratic and she wouldn't be as understanding as the military because she was the kind of person to shoot first and then ask questions later.

Jason wasn't going to gamble on his safety and alerted them verbally when he was coming in.

The ladies were surprised that he was back so soon and what they assumed was that he was too chicken to carry out his plan.

Rachel looked certain about this as she rolled her eyes the moment she heard his voice.

"You punked out, didn't you?" Rachel asked in a condescending tone but Jason didn't even respond to her as his eyes were focused on the zombie.

"Come over here!" Jason called out to Lillian as he crouched over the zombie's open carcass.

Lillian hesitated because she didn't understand what was going on which was understandable but the fact that it was Jason that called out.

This made her heed his call, walking towards him but Rachel stopped her sister, grabbing her by the arm.

Lillian looked up at Rachel, she wanted to know why her sister was stopping her but Rachel's eyes weren't even on Lillian but rather, on Jason. The debut release of this chapter happened at Ñòv€l-B1n.

"What do you want to do with her?" Rachel asked and Jason couldn't believe that she was even asking this question when it should have been obvious.

"It fucking worked! The zombies cannot perceive us when we're covered in their guts! You all need to come here so I can put some of it on you! We can walk right out of the building!" Jason exclaimed and Bella didn't need further convincing as she charged towards Jason.

She was ready for him to apply the zombie's guts on her.

Jason dipped his hands into the zombie's body to dig out its rotten organs or what was left of it.

Jason proceeded to rub it on Bella but her body was a lot more defined than he thought.

"I was bitten too... It happened when we were clearing the building," X said, this meant that he was infected before the horde even hit.

"Hahaha! I guess the saying was true," John whispered, he looked a lot more relieved when he found out that X was going to die alongside him.

"What are you saying?" X asked with an awkward smile.

"Like father like son," John said with a bright smile as they were content dying but they planned to go out with a bang and luckily, they wouldn't have to wait much longer.

Sam, Rache and the rest were here, they walked past them with Clementine and Sam hanging back to say a farewell to John but this was when X revealed that he too was bitten as well as his plan to take down as many zombies as he could.

Clementine couldn't hold back her tears but this was something she had to get over as the threat that lurked was far greater. Sam bit his tongue and allowed the men to go out with as much honour as possible. He didn't shed a single tear because these were soldiers.

Jason looked over his shoulder as he saw Clementine and Sam walk in their direction.

The worse had passed as they scaled through the horde and the relief that came with it made them feel anew.

Lillian held her older sister's hand, this was the only reason she could walk as with this, the saga was over. The moment they went outside, they walked for a good ten minutes as they were in the clear. Just then, a huge explosion rocked the building, it wasn't the detonation of just one grenade but rather, the detonation of multiple.

This was enough to bring the building down, killing all the zombies within.
