“Do you... do you want to talk to them?” he said and Yi Chen just stared at him wondering why this man wasn’t hugging him.

Yes, they were in mechs but he had hugged Zi Han in a mech so it was indeed possible, but just a little awkward.

Yi Chen would hug his mother and siblings but never hugged him. Most of that was his fault. He couldn’t remember a time after he sent his son to preschool for the first time that he hugged his son. Yi Chen also felt that Zi Han would like that thus he didn’t fight it. “Just right him a message and tell him where I am. I don’t want him to worry,” he said and Yi Zhen couldn’t help but internally repeat the word,

‘Henpecked! Henpecked!’ several times in his head.

Yi Zhen smiled slightly and said, “I will message him in the warship,” but Yi Chen stubbornly refused to move. He wasn’t going to move until that message was sent.
