Recently, Lin Su’s small shop has been incredibly popular. Since its opening, the daily orders have been non-stop.

After the enforcement department confiscated a batch of fruits, Lin Su didn’t rush to produce new ones. There was one orange tree left, which would be enough to sustain sales for a while. However, when they woke up early in the morning, they received over 30 orders. Upon counting the remaining oranges on the tree and the strawberries in the field, they realized it wasn’t enough to fulfill the orders.

Su Jin saw Lin Su squatting in the field early in the morning, counting with a smile, and asked, “More orders?”

These past few days, the influx of orders had been incessant, and both Su Jin and Kane were well aware of it.

“Yes, we received over 30 orders this morning, but the remaining fruits aren’t enough for a single shipment,” Lin Su replied.

Su Jin suggested, “Can we inform them that the delivery will be delayed?”

“We might have to do that,” Lin Su said, glancing at the fruit trees in the yard, preparing for another busy day.

Just as they were talking, a truck approached from a distance. Su Jin instinctively walked over to Lin Su and asked, “Are they here for us?”

Lin Su recalled and said, “I haven’t made any arrangements recently, and if Mu’en were coming, he would be driving a vehicle with the enforcement department logo. Even if it were Zhao An, he would use his private hovercar. So, it’s probably not them.”

As expected, as soon as the words were spoken, the truck parked in front of the neighboring Tang Ran family’s door.

The truck’s doors opened, and four strong men jumped down, carrying ropes on their backs, and began moving things from Tang Ran’s house onto the truck.

“What are they doing?” Su Jin widened his eyes, “Are they moving?”

“Seems like it,” Lin Su replied, uninterested in Tang Ran’s affairs, and turned to walk towards the chicken coop. These past two days, they had been busy with the orders and hadn’t checked if the wild chickens had laid any eggs for them.

But as Lin Su was about to bend down and reach into the chicken coop, a small yellow head poked out from inside.

With its small round eyes the size of green beans, the chick looked curiously at Lin Su.

Their eyes met.

Lin Su widened his eyes abruptly, and the little chick tilted its head and chirped, “Chirp, chirp.”

That one chirp didn’t matter much, but then four more chicks popped out of the chicken coop one after another.

They were fluffy, adorable, and yellow.

Lin Su smiled and crouched down, gathering the four little chicks in his arms. The soft and fluffy feathers felt warm, delicate enough to make one’s heart tremble.

Lin Su hooked the corner of his lips, with a dimple showing on his cheek, his eyes shining with delight. He rubbed and touched the chicks, and the little chicks chirped and called out, lively and cute. The adult chickens nearby circled around Lin Su, making a few clucking sounds.

Hearing the commotion, Su Jin walked over and couldn’t help but smile when he saw Lin Su holding the chicks, saying, “They’ve hatched?”

“Yes, and they seem quite energetic,” Lin Su replied and placed the chicks in Su Jin’s arms. They then proceeded to feed the adult chickens, rewarding these heroes. After finishing, they set up a nest for the chicks, placing them inside. The four little beings immediately showed curiosity in their new home.

As Lin Su stood there watching for a while, they heard the moving company next door come and go in a hurry.

Initially, Lin Su hadn’t paid much attention to the matter, thinking that Tang Ran couldn’t continue living here and had decided to move away.

However, the next morning, Mu’en arrived in an enforcement department vehicle.

As soon as he entered the yard, his attention was immediately drawn to the four fruit trees laden with fruit. He asked, “Lin Su, your fruit trees have borne fruit again. How are they selling?”

Seeing Mu’en’s excited expression, Lin Su chuckled and said, “Minister Mu’en, you’ve come at the perfect time. I just cultivated them last night. Originally, I was planning to keep them for the online shop since business has been good recently. But since you’re here, I can spare one tree for you.”

Speaking of Lin Su’s small shop, Mu’en had been placing several orders recently, although his own situation was far from “prosperous.” News about the Third Military District’s large-scale purchase of purified fruits and vegetables had already spread, causing people around him to inquire. The news of the calming effects of purified fruits and vegetables was becoming difficult to suppress.

His visit this time was also related to this matter. The Star Domain Council had already begun preparing the public announcement procedure. Once the announcement was made, Lin Su’s small shop would likely see even better business, making it harder to buy from them.

So, before that happened, they needed to finalize the purchase plan for the purified seeds as soon as possible.

Even if the fruit yield from the two trees was slightly less, it was still better than having none. Mu’en said, “Alright then, I’ll have someone come over later. The price will be the same as last time.”

Lin Su nodded with a smile, “Okay, one orange tree and one apple tree. I’ll have someone come to pick them up.”

Lin Su’s prompt agreement pleased Mu’en. “Actually, there are two matters I came for this time. One is regarding the purchase of purified seeds, and the other is about what we discussed last time. You mentioned that your yard was a bit small. Well, the person next door, as compensation for your inconvenience, has agreed to sell at a discounted price. If you’re interested, the discounted price will serve as compensation for you. If you’re not interested, we’ll work out a separate compensation.”

Mu’en finished speaking and waited for Lin Su’s decision.

Little did they expect that the moving company that appeared yesterday was related to this matter.

The Tang Ran family’s yard was the same size as theirs and was adjacent to it, separated only by a fence in the middle.

If they removed the fence, the area could be doubled without having to go through the trouble of moving. They could also make use of the neighboring house.

Furthermore, the most suitable cultivation base for purified fruits and vegetables on North Star was Farm No. 13, which was the same size as their yard.

Halving the price for the same-sized yard was definitely a profitable deal.

Lin Su felt that he had no reason to refuse.

“Minister Mu’en, you’ve gone through so much trouble for this matter. We have no objections here,” Lin Su said, not foolish enough to believe that Tang Ran willingly sold the yard and moved away. Surely, Mu’en and his team had helped in some way.

“It’s just a small matter. Since you all agree, we can sign the paperwork later, and if you’re not financially comfortable, you can pay in installments.”

In any case, they wanted to do everything possible to make things convenient for them.

Lin Su inquired about the discounted price and found that it happened to be their entire savings. “No need for installments. I can pay the full amount.”

Considering Lin Su’s unique purification ability, it was unlikely that they would be short on money.

Mu’en didn’t say anything further and shifted the conversation to the purchase of purified seeds.

To ensure fairness, they had prepared a procurement list, clearly stating the prices for fruits and vegetables separately.

For example, a vegetable seed would be purchased at a price of 150 credits per seed, while fruits like apples would be bought at a price of 2000 credits per seed.

As for why purified seeds were more expensive than mature fruits, it naturally took into account the output after the fruit trees grew and the lifespan of a fruit tree.

Looking at the list, Lin Su knew that it was a sincere offer from North Star.

“I think we can add another section here. I will provide North Star with a fixed amount of 2000 kilograms of vegetable seeds and 300 fruit seeds every year for a period of 20 years. Let’s consider it as a contribution to the future development of North Star.”

In the presence of their sincerity, Lin Su wouldn’t be stingy either.

Originally, Mu’en and the Chief of the Star Domain, Lei Sen, had considered many factors regarding this matter, but in the end, they decided to relax the policy and show their sincerity to the greatest extent. However, they didn’t expect Lin Su to also show them sincerity.

This young individual always managed to surprise people.

Mu’en nodded with a smile. “I’m sure the Chief of the Star Domain will be very pleased to know about this.”

“I’m also looking forward to the future development of North Star,” Lin Su said and without any hesitation, signed his name on the agreement.

When Mu’en left, he not only arranged to come back tomorrow to purchase the fruits but also mentioned that if Lin Su needed help in organizing the neighboring yard, they could send someone over.

Lin Su hadn’t thought about how to utilize the neighboring yard yet. He planned to carefully plan it and wasn’t in a rush to tidy it up.

Not only was Mu’en satisfied with this visit, but it was also a pleasant surprise for Lin Su.

After seeing Mu’en off, Su Jin and Kane came over to inquire, “Xiao Su, did you really buy the neighboring yard?”

“Yes, female father and male father, here are the documents for the neighboring yard. Let’s think about how to utilize it together. We can have the fence removed by someone tomorrow.”

Kane shook his head in response, “Why hire someone? I can do it.”

Da-Hei, who was following by Kane’s side, wagged his tail excitedly. The contract beast’s response could intuitively reflect the true emotions of its owner.

Clearly, even though Kane appeared calm and restrained at the moment, he was actually quite thrilled.

Lin Su reached out and rubbed Da-Hei’s head. As Kane’s beast markings were restored, Da-Hei’s body also became more solid.

With Lin Su’s head rub, Da-Hei’s wagging tail instantly turned into a propeller as it affectionately rubbed against Lin Su’s palm, making a purring sound!

“Male father, you can supervise. Removing the fence and tidying up the neighboring yard will require some effort.”

“Just stay aside and watch obediently. You don’t even know your own physical condition. Don’t cause any trouble!”

After being reprimanded by Su Jin, Kane had a satisfied expression and nodded happily. “Okay, okay, I won’t move. I’ll just watch from the side.”

Lin Su, with a smile, said, “If male father thinks his condition is fine, how about we perform the final restoration later?”

“Really?” According to Lin Su’s previous statement, the interval between each restoration should be at least one week. In fact, he didn’t feel the need for it, but since Lin Su was cautious, he didn’t want to reject Lin Su’s kindness. Now that Lin Su suggested it, Kane was naturally very willing.

Thinking about fully recovering himself, Kane couldn’t contain his excitement.

Su Jin, however, had some concerns. “Is it okay? It hasn’t been a week since the last restoration.”

Kane couldn’t help but get excited. “I feel that I’m in good condition now. I think we can give it a try.”

Lin Su smiled and reassured Su Jin, “Don’t worry, female father. Male father is in good condition now, and performing the final restoration won’t be a problem.”

“Then let’s give it a try. But Xiao Su, make sure you’re okay.” Although Su Jin didn’t say it, he remembered that Lin Su stayed up late last night to cultivate the fruits.

Lin Su shook his head. “Don’t worry, female father. I know what I’m doing.”

As Lin Su treated Kane, his abilities continued to grow, becoming much stronger compared to before, even though they hadn’t upgraded yet.

Even after nurturing four trees overnight, his legs no longer felt weak in the morning.

As Su Jin decided to perform the final restoration of Kane’s beast markings, he busied himself by picking strawberries and cutting them into small pieces, preparing to replenish Lin Su’s energy.

Lin Su went back to his room to fetch some blood from a B-rank contracted beast and then arrived at Kane’s room. Kane had just freshened up during his free time, and Da-Hei, full of energy, followed closely by his side, looking at Lin Su with affectionate eyes.

“Don’t worry, male father. Just like the previous two times, stay still and don’t move,” Lin Su said.

“I know, don’t worry. I promise I can endure it for the last time. Xiao Jin, please help me,” Kane replied.

Su Jin nodded and said, “Don’t worry, I’ll hold you down.”

“That’s good. Xiao Su, let’s begin. Take it easy and prioritize your own well-being. Don’t exhaust yourself,” Kane advised.

Although Kane was eager to recover, he would rather maintain the current situation than sacrifice Lin Su. He didn’t want Lin Su to overexert himself.

“Alright, let’s begin.” Lin Su poured the blood of the B-rank contracted beast onto his hand, and the abundant energy dispersed into the air. Da-Hei let out a howl as if knowing that Lin Su was about to do something that would make it very comfortable, and its tail wagged excitedly.

The beast markings on the back of Kane’s neck, which were initially scattered fragments, gradually transformed into complex and complete patterns.

The lines of deep blue were graceful and smooth, emanating a hint of retro charm.

Lin Su released his ability, and a faint green glow emerged from the palm of his hand. It turned into green threads that infiltrated the beast markings, instantly forming a cool net that gathered the scattered specks of stardust from every corner.

“Mmm…” The refreshing sensation felt like dewdrops, moisturizing the dry body and gradually filling the barren insides.

Kane felt as if he were sitting on a light boat, gently drifting with the breeze, surrounded by a natural and fresh aroma in every breath.

Lin Su’s cat-like eyes were bright and serious. As his ability permeated, there was no longer the previous stiffness. The rebellious nodes of the beast markings had become obedient.

As the beast markings were gradually completed, the originally deep blue markings transformed into a vibrant green, full of vitality.

Da-Hei, lying beside Kane, changed its lively and playful demeanor and instead quietly lay there, sleeping soundly.

Su Jin, who had been paying close attention to both of them, suddenly widened his eyes. The rich natural aura in the air caused him to involuntarily release his contracted plant.

One by one, the red camellias formed buds, and then they bloomed one after another. The elegant floral fragrance filled the air, bringing joy to the body and mind.

Su Jin was amazed by the transformation of his contracted plant. It had been in the bud stage for a long time, and he never expected it to advance under these circumstances.

Contracted plants were different from contracted beasts; they needed the host’s nurturing to grow. Each stage of growth in a plant was considered an advancement.

Su Jin had already given up on his C-rank genes, considering that even if his contracted plant successfully advanced to the flowering and fruiting stage, it would only have a minor alleviating effect on Kane’s mental disorder. That tiny relief couldn’t keep up with the speed of Kane’s deteriorating condition.

However, he never anticipated that it would advance in such an unexpected way under these circumstances.

Lin Su’s treatment continued without him noticing Su Jin’s changes or the blooming camellias filling the room.

The fragrant floral scent combined with the strong natural aura filled the air. The B-rank long-eared rabbit, which had been hiding in the corner of the bed, sniffed the air incessantly as if searching for something.

Suddenly, it tilted its body and fell onto the bed, wriggling its chubby body back and forth, making contented purring sounds.

William, with golden eyes, couldn’t conceal his astonishment. Even though he had experienced this natural aura before, this time it was excessively intense and abundant.

The red beast markings on his chest emerged and greedily devoured the natural aura in the room.

The mental domain, which was constantly on the verge of tearing apart, gradually repaired itself under this aura. The cracks were gradually mended.

Feeling the comfortable sensation of his dried-up body being restored by the natural aura, William squinted his eyes and his dog ears, standing tall among his white hair, lightly trembled. A pair of fierce and wicked golden eyes half-closed, resembling satisfaction after a satisfying meal.

The B-rank long-eared rabbit, which had been happily playing in the corner of the bed, suddenly froze, then turned over and growled unhappily at the big fox beside it, which was trying to snatch its “resources.”

William had a premonition that after this restoration, his voicelessness seemed to be showing signs of improvement.

The natural aura that permeated the air was completely absorbed by his body, gradually thinning out.

William opened his eyes and glanced at the foolish bunny that was barking and jumping around at him with its teeth bared in dissatisfaction, shaking his tail tip hanging at the edge of the bed in disdain.
