The next day, Li An’an went back to work. She brought steamed buns and soy milk that she had made for breakfast.

Chu Yichen felt much better when he saw how pitiful she was. “You can eat my breakfast instead, and come with me to the office afterwards.”

“I’m short of a personal secretary. You’re just right for the job.”
