This was a sacred vow in love. If she said yes, she would be committing to a lifetime with Mr. Tang, growing old together.
Was she truly willing?
All eyes were on Liuli, including Tang Moxi’s.
He gazed at her quietly, his eyes filled with tenderness. There was no pressure or impatience; he simply waited patiently for her answer.
“I do!” Liuli finally replied.
She had no other choice, and retreat was not an option.
She couldn’t bear to disappoint Grandpa Tang, Grandma, or her departed Grandpa.
