Chapter 12 - Mommy?
(Present Time)
Sebastian was worried that Ruyi will have another attack from anger, so he knew to call someone to help him calm her down.
Suddenly the door opened and a boisterous voice resounded. Of course, from the voice she knew it was her uncle, but surprise is still evident that the shock made her grab her chest from the said surprise.
"Hello Yiyi!!! Why is your secretary asking me to calm you down?" Jack immediately went to her side calming her down.
"Uncle... If you suddenly came line that with all the slamming the door open with your big mouth.. anyone will be scared." Ruyi and the two men remembers her having episodes of attack when she becomes overly emotional.
Jack remembered once when the child had a nightmare and was crying her eyes out until she suddenly felt pain in her chest, when he arrived he saw her lying motionlessly on the floor out of breathe and pulse that he had to perform CPR and yelled to the butler to call an ambulance.
"Okay... Uncle is sorry... but I thought you'd have some serious attacks according to the tone Sebastian had when he called me up." Jackson looked like a lost puppy that was scolded.
"Hoo... I'm alright uncle, I won't do it again... I'll make sure to keep my emotions in check" Ruyi said reassuringly. She then proceeded back to her table and worked non-stop that even the staffs were scared at her robotlike actions. Fast, efficient and accurate, that is how she works.
She spent three days in her office making and finalizing the proposal that was supposed to be handled by one of the idiots kicked out, when suddenly a little kid appears in her office.
"Uwaahhh!!!! Mommy~~~" the child ran to her and hugged her waist with tears and snot in his face .
"Mommy?" Ruyi raised her eyebrow.
The witch that she is, pulled the child away from her and said " I'm not your mother" in a cold way, frightening the child even more so. She immediately went to comfort the child as his wails irritated her. She then called in her secretary to take the child.
When Sebastian entered he was flabbergasted at the sight of the CEO holding a child with such comforting words . The sight of Ruyi singing a lullaby to a sleeping boy in her lap. made him thought twice if this was the person he was working for.
Ruyi noticing a stare at her, immediately glared at her secretary and asked "Whose child is this? How did it get to my office? Didn't you see it coming? "
Seeing that his boss was infuriated, he quickly took the child and apologized, but due to his sudden and clumsy movements it woke up the child and he started crying.
Annoyed at her secretary, she took the child back and lull it back to sleep, when the child finally relaxed on her, she quickly stared back at Sebastian and said, " Next time be gentle to kids, how would you feel if you were suddenly ripped off? Find the parents first and have them come to my office "
"Yes, Ms. President" Sebastian quickly took off and went to the head of security to look at CCTVs to help him find the parents of the child...
