The Seventh Day Without Divorce — Doomed To Die Without Descendants (1)

But now, Lu Lincheng was a head taller than her but wouldn’t be able to squeeze her to death. Instead, he took advantage of her as soon as she returned to B City, and in the end, she didn’t even have a place to cry.

Liang Yan was furious at the thought that she was a real-life inflatable doll, and with Lu Lincheng’s attitude the next day, she felt like she was only around to solve his physical needs.

Liang Yan finished moving the bricks ahead of schedule, so the crew didn’t assign her a new task. She was bored, sitting on the small steps in the construction site, imagining in her head that she was chopping Lu Lincheng’s pen*s.

She would just take a knife used to slice bananas, slice his little d*ck. Hahahahaha….

**********

On the set, Lu Lincheng, in the dressing room, sneezed as he took off his wig after work.  His agent, Zhuo Yang, entered the room with a serious face,  and his shoes connected to the floor, making a crisp sound.

The make up artist was bewildered by the agent with the nickname, “Zhuo Iron Face.” The makeup artist nodded his head, greeted him and continued with his work, carefully removing Lu Lincheng’s wig.

Lu Linching glanced at Zhuo Yang’s dark face through the mirror and asked, “What’s wrong?”

Zhuo Yang pulled another makeup chair to the side and sat down. Elegantly crossing his legs, he crossed his arms over his chest and grunted in exasperation, “This Liang Yan, what is she up to these days?”

Lu Lincheng rarely heard Liang Yan’s name from his agent’s mouth and asked again, “What’s wrong with her?”

Zhuo Yang handed his phone to Lu Lincheng. “Look at this.”

It was full of “shenanigans” that Liang Yan had been performing these last few days, including being photographed eating alone in a hotpot restaurant, as well as the heated discussion in the forum this morning about the two-character actress who they said was Liang Yan; the actress didn’t know her husband’s phone number during the variety show.

As soon as Zhuo Yang saw the thread, he called Brave Man’s Challenge crew immediately and confirmed that the person was really f*cking Liang Yan.

Lu Lincheng saw it and his brow wrinkled. His WeChat was very private, so he didn’t add Liang Yan, and only left his phone number to her for easy contact. Although they didn’t keep tabs on each other, the phone number he gave her was real.

How could it possibly be an incorrect number?

Zhuo Yang asked, “Is she trying to use you for hype? Didn’t you meet her back in B city the other day?”

Lu Lincheng handed his phone back to Zhuo Yang and pinched the inner corners of his eyes. “I met her.” And  was inexplicably hated by her.

Zhuo Yang said, “I’ve already deleted the post. The variety show’s team said it was probably a new intern who spread the story.” He took his phone. “I’ll call Liang Yan and ask her what the hell is she doing.”

When he heard that Zhuo Yang would contact Liang Yan, he stopped him. Lu Lincheng thought of how Liang Yan used to react when Zhuo Yang was around, she was like a mouse that encountered a cat.

“No, leave her alone.”

Lu Lincheng was tired after a whole day of filming. He closed his eyes to relax. “She doesn’t have other activities other than this variety show, so just forget about it.”

Zhuo Yang put down the phone and stared at Lu Lincheng’s side profile. The fledgling teenager he met before had now become a man. He emitted a cold aura, preventing people from coming close.

Zhuo Yang swallowed the words he was about to ask. “It’s been two years, when are you going to divorce Liang Yan?”

When Lu Lincheng announced his marriage years ago, not only was the public shocked, but even the agency didn’t know. They were kept in the dark. Zhuo Yang was furious, learning about the marriage from Weibo. He was on the verge of breaking down upon discovering that Lu Lincheng got married.

There were two types of relationships between artists and agents. One was a superior-subordinate relationship where the agent was the former. The company assigned an agent to the artist, holding power of life and death over the artist.

If the artists were disobedient to the agents, the latter could bury the artist in the snow, so artists tried to please the agents as much as they could to get more jobs and opportunities. This kind of relationship was rampant in countries like Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan stars and agents.

China also had this relationship, but mostly, the relationship between the artist and agent was like an employment relationship, especially for people like Lu Lincheng. They hired the agent to take care of them and their work life in the sense that the artist was the boss and the agent was an employee. In this relationship, the artist was subjected to less restrictions.

Zhuo Yang couldn’t say anything to Lu Lincheng, so he disliked the 18th-tier actress Liang Yan. It frightened the latter. Fortunately, Liang Yan didn’t make a fuss and had never acted like a witch to Lu Lincheng. That was why Zhuo Yang liked her a little bit.

The two recent situations had obviously angered Zhuo Yang again, so he complained to Lu Lincheng.

When the make-up artist took off Lu Lincheng’s wig, the beautiful ancient man reflected on the mirror with eyes closed had disappeared and been replaced by a modern one. Lu Lincheng brushed his hair, and suddenly, he thought of Liang Yan’s long hair that night. And then he thought of her words the next day — “I didn’t feel anything” — challenging his manhood.

Lu Lincheng’s face darkened. “From now on, you don’t have to worry about any of Liang Yan’s business.”

He just didn’t believe that with Liang Yan’s nature, without him, would be able to make a splash.
