Eventually, maybe because it had expended its own breath attack, the flying monstrosity landed in front of the hall to fight up close and personal. Adventurers who were looking for glory charged right in, but they were quickly defeated by a single tail swipe. Seeing the futility in it, a few retreated inside the hall.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting the hells out of here!" Arenade exclaimed as an adventurer was tossed square across the street before their eyes.
"You're not going anywhere! We're helping Estaline and the city!" Kanae held her arm.
"And I want to try and raise that dragon even if it kills me!" Edina declared, holding onto the other.

"They are fine, but we have disbanded. We were together only to defeat the dragon, now that it is gone and I passed the rewards onto the three of you, they want nothing to do with me. Though I do believe I made the right choice." Estaline smiled, unbothered by it.
"The many gods work in mysterious ways. We were just talking earlier about asking you to party up with us. What do you say?" Arenade suggested.
Kanae held his breath and stared hard, waiting for an answer.
"I'm flattered. However, our level difference is far too great. Even if that were not so, I've been summoned by the Knights of Colors to attend a ceremony in welcoming a new brother to the order. An unsavory man…" Estaline quietly growled.
"It's a centaur named Bardell, isn't it?" Edina breathed spite into the name as she mentioned him.
"Yes," she confirmed.
It didn't look like Estaline was on board with a crime lord as a fellow knight. The Knights of Colors were certainly a weird group to accept just anyone. Maybe they were never always upright and Estaline was a rare exception.
Either way, learning that she wouldn't be joining them was disappointing.
"I wish I could stay and become more acquainted with you three. Especially you." Estaline knelt down, grabbed Kanae's hand, and kissed it, sending his heart rate through the roof and head steaming. "If the Supreme One wills it, we shall meet again. You have made an ally of the Knight of Silver."
The drakeling knight let go and winked, then marched out of the hall.
"Oooh. Look at the lovestruck maiden. Guess even the succubus can get charmed." Arenade teased.
Kanae glared at Arenade and pointed a finger in her direction.
"W-Wait, let's talk this out! We just fought a dragon together and bonded closer, right?" She turned to Edina for help, but the squirreling pretended not to hear.
He flashed a smirk and casted the spell, "Turn Horny."
"Aahhh!"
