Nice! Now my Bone Manipulation is also max level. The Ice Magic that I just gained is also already at level 3!

I won't be able to test out these new magics any time soon, so let's just go on with my original agenda.

I put on my Common clothes again, and walk towards the dining area of the inn.

There, I see the ever-so-energetic Catherine serving customers, and I sit myself down in one of the chairs.

All of a sudden, a great clamour arises within the dining area.

"OI! Don't touch me, filthy beast!" (???)

Sigh... seems like some racial discrimination again. This is why humans are…

I should probably do something. However, I'm in my casual everyday gear. Taking out my orichalcum dagger would probably attract unwanted attention, and I haven't acquired anything that can be seen in public. The best I can do is probably imitate one of Arkan's swords with my Bone Manipulation.

Just as I was about to, someone else became the hero.

With a stunning face that could match the Immortal Fairies of my second life and long ears, she nimbly performed a German suplex on the gruff man.

"Uwaah! Thank nyou, Arinnya!" (Catherine)

Arin?! Is this the same Arin that I met in the desert? She was an elf?! Ah, she's looking my way. Let's avoid staring at her.

"Hey, Daniel." (Arin)

Shiiiiiiiit! Trouble came knocking even though I destroyed the door!

"H-hello, Arin. W-what brings you here today?" (Daniel)

"To check up on you, of course! Don't even ask. We're the ones who recommended this inn, remember? So, how are you doing?" (Arin)

"I-I'm fine, thanks." (Daniel)

After that, I continued in a low mumble, "worse now that you've attracted so much attention…"

Strangely her ears twitched as if she heard that and the smile on her face became increasingly eerie.

"Hey, do you have any plans today? Let's go shopping!" (Arin)

"A-Alright. I was going to do some anyway." (Daniel)

"Yosh! Then let's go, right now!" (Arin)

"Wait! Let me get some breakfast first…" (Daniel)

Oof. I just got reminded of my first wife in my first life. How horrible. I hate it when women drag me along into their machinations. Especially when it involves dates! Well, I wouldn't say I got the short end of the straw here though…

The breakfast was pretty good. Strangely enough, the breakfast at the inn consisted of meat first thing in the morning.

Accompanied by some simple gruel, it was filling yet not satisfying enough. The meat was apparently not beast meat, which would explain its bland flavour. Organic meat is the best! Especially when its soaked in natural mana!

Anyway, it was quite nice for an inn meal.

After that, I was quite literally dragged along by Arin.

As if she could telepathically communicate with my stomach, she led me to a nearby skewer stall first.

The stall was selling roasted scorpion meat, which just happened to be my new favourite. Hmm… people do say that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and I think that saying might be true…

After that, I had to accompany her to multiple clothing shops, armor shops, and cosmetic shops.

The level of cosmetics in this world surprised me, since they were far from just simple perfumes. I'm guessing they used the Holy Spring Water from the Alphari Desert to make them, giving it a signature sweet smell.

"Which one do you think looks nicer?" (Arin)

"Which one fits better? Don't be shy!" (Arin)

"Hey, hey, help me choose one!" (Arin)

Shop after shop, I was more like an attendant than a person on a date. This is why I dislike dates! I always end up as the person who chooses for them, and whenever I choose wrong, they take it out on me! If you are going to end up choosing what you want anyway, then why bother asking me? Women are so ridiculous sometimes…

"Well, that's all for today. I'll see you around some time, Daniel!" (Arin)

Finally! I'm free of that evil witch! Damn elves… your natural beauty is already so high, so why do you need to complement it with stylish clothes? Are you trying to pave a highway to make me fall for you?

That said, if I had a car, I'd willingly drive along. However, I don't have a car. Suck that!

Actually, don't. Forget I said anything. Sigh… I was going to do so much today, but in the end, I only managed to buy some new clothes. And 90% of those clothes aren't even mine!

I can probably manage to sell my leathers since I'm already at the market, but the rest will have to wait until tomorrow. Speaking of which, I heard a rumour that Khardin was having a public speech outside the Adventurer's Guild tomorrow. I should steer clear from there for now…

Ultimately, I managed to sell the two Tri-horned Tiger and the Blue-mane Lion leathers for a total of 2 gold coins. The skinning was done well, and I must admit I'm proud of the tanning. Looks like my past two lives are finally shining through! Wait… I think I said that before, didn't I?

After spending around another gold coin on food, I left the marketplace and returned to the inn. I currently only have 4 gold coins left, two of which are from Arkan. Not that I'm ever going to pay him back.

I need to find money fast, or else I'm going to go broke! The first time in three lives! Broke! Unbelievable!

But first, my daily necromancy. It's almost like a drug. If I don't produce at least one Skeleton Warrior every night, I can't fall asleep peacefully. Skeletons will come haunt my dreams until I can't sleep anymore. Is that supposed to happen? Ed is weirdly silent on this one…

Wait a minute! I should be able to just sell weapons and armors made from my Bone Manipulation! Now that it's also max level, I can reproduce any sort of material with 100% accuracy as long as I have bones. And the magic also allows me summon bones out of thin air, albeit costing a lot more mana.

Then its settled! I'll do the other things on my checklist, and then decide on how to sell my bone items.
