36 Life of Daniel

'Ed, is it possible for my Liches to produce skeletons while they're in my inventory?' (Daniel)

'If you can manage to isolate them from all your other items, I can try to resume time in that certain area.' (Ed)

'Alright, sweet!' (Daniel)

The only reason I asked was because I had already confirmed that the Liches can hand over command of the skeletons they produce to me. After all, skeletons are simple undead. They follow the orders of their master. And if their master tells them that I am their new master, then I will be.

I extend my consciousness into my inventory. As soon as I enter, there is water all the way up to my knees. Previously, I wouldn't have any idea how to do this. But with Water Magic, I have an easy solution.

The first thing I do is summon a bone wall, while leaving a small hole in the bottom. My inventory space has no ceiling, so the height of the wall is just there to stop the water from overflowing.

Using the hole, I suck all the Holy Spring Water towards one side of the wall. Closing up the wall, I move my Liches to the other side.

For convenience, I'll call this the Undead Area, since all the undead I make will go there now. I also move the rest of my skeletons over.

For now, I'm not going to focus on making more Liches. While that would actually increase my chances of evolving Necromancy and becoming more efficient at summoning the undead, I prefer quality over quantity.

Who knows if some super powerful enemies will show up? If they do, then no matter how many low levelled mobs you have, nothing is going to stop them.

After refining a couple more King's Guards, I go to sleep myself.

The next couple of days were uneventful. Gorund found me again, and he told me the date of the competition, which was one week away.

I confirmed with him that the weapon I produce will be mine. After all, I don't want a Half-God weapon to end up in Sivod's hands.

The way I see it, the competition will definitely be rigged in Kuzzat's favour. Although, since the details of the contest are for apprentices to battle, I don't know how it will be rigged.

The best I can think of is reducing the quality of my Mithril or giving Kuzzat one that is already in ingot form.

However, there is absolutely nothing that can beat my God Smith. Except for gods themselves.

During these days I've been fully immersing myself in the wonders of God Smith. I don't even need a forge; I can just use my Fire Magic and heat the metal. Then, using an anvil and a hammer, I can shape the metal. The metal is made from bones by the way.

I've also found out that even if I don't change the bones into metal, God Smith can still shape them. It will help a lot when I max the level, since I can then combine it with Bone Control. Maybe I'll get another fusion skill out of it.

I've also spent the time when I'm not forging with Arin and Catherine. The problem, though, is that after our dates, it was as if the floodgates had been opened.

They became much bolder, and whenever we were in private they would become kissing demons. Following the same vein, I became a kissing god.

We've also been going on some more dates, despite the fact that there's nothing much to see in this town. The clothing stores have already all recognized us, and the blacksmithing or tanning ones aren't exactly date material.

The only thing of interest would be going outside of the city and looking at the landscape, or interacting with some of the farmers. They are generally nice people, but some of the men looked at me with hatred.

I'm unsure why though; was it because I have two girlfriends? Or because their wife was attracted to me?

In any case, I have no interest in married and middle-aged women. I'd dig a good MILF though.

Also, something about cheating ticks me off. Maybe my first life's yandere wife had deeply ingrained that into me.

Anyway, these days have been very peaceful. It almost makes me wonder why I even bother getting caught up in trouble. But I don't have to wonder for too long, because I'm perpetually reminded that I have a dog who can control my body.

I don't want to think about that anymore. Let's talk about my skeleton troops.

My Elder Liches are capable of producing 1500 King's Guards every day. It's been three days already, so that's 4500 King's Guards. I'll be forming a legion when it reaches 5000. The next thing I'll do is make some mounts, so I can have a cavalry legion.

The cavalry legion will have skeleton creatures. There will be horses, spiders, bears, wolves, any sort of animal that can carry a person.

I'll also need some commanders, since controlling over 10,000 skeletons is not the easiest thing to do. Luckily, I can take the spirits of 'worthy' human commanders, force them to submit to me, then place them inside a Skeleton Commander. With that, I can just tell my orders to them and they will execute it with my troops.

I'll also be making a crack team of spies and thieves later on. Zombies or ghouls of smaller creatures, like flies or mosquitoes or spiders, can be used to infiltrate the enemy and spread disease.

As for mages, I'll also definitely need to make them. I have no expertise in archery, so the only ranged units I can make right now are mages. Ideally, I would have evolved my Fire Magic before I need to make them.

I plan to have two magic units, one fire and one ice, or maybe water. With fire and ice, I can subject the walls to rapid shrinking and expanding, which will then shatter it.

With fire and water, I can cause a steam explosion from rapid heating of water. It might seem like a bad idea to cause such a huge explosion, but anything can happen.

Tomorrow, my Liches will start spending half of their time making mounts, which means 500 King's Guards – which will go to the infantry legion – and 500 cavalry units, including mounts. I'll call the cavalry the Royal Cavalry.

These two legions will form my elite troops. For standard troops, I'm thinking of using the bodies of the dead to create zombies or ghouls, and they can run up and blow up or kill a few by themselves.

In any case, I'm confident that after a month, even the Kharn Empire army won't be able to face me.
