Volume 5 - CH 13

I look down at the place where the demons used to be.

The molten iron is boiling, and the whole area has turned scarlet, but they are no longer there.

Gobonoyakumo Ombonoyasu does not like the heat, and the fog around the molten iron clears up a little.

Suddenly, I spotted a faint light there.

It seems to be a magic circle.

If you look closely, —- you will see that it resembles the one Ganis used before.

I muttered quietly.

I must have missed one.

*The art of brilliant iron (name of the art not yet available)

A technique in which one is exposed to surging waves of boiling iron. The temperature is approximately 2,800℃. When the human body is enveloped by the waves, the water in the body instantly boils and evaporates, creating a small-scale steam explosion. After the body has exploded, it is thought that the remaining organic matter begins to burn. The high temperature of molten iron melts even bones, but does not sublimate carbon, leaving behind carbonized body parts.
