2 Trapped!

Raising and extending my right arm, I swiped my fingers down, and the menu opened, the menu that I had already opened more than a hundred times. And like all those times, I scrolled down to the very bottom before letting out a heavy sigh as I saw that a crucial button was missing from its place.

'I guess this is really happening.'

Scrolling up, I tapped on the inventory button and the inventory window opened. In it, there were two items: a sheet of paper and a box. Tapping on the former, it appeared in my right hand.

{Dear player, Astrid

We have sent you a gift, you can find it in your inventory

Death Penalty: -1 Level and resurrection in the home town

Reading the sheet of paper for the second time, I gritted my teeth, crumpled it up into a ball, rose up from the ground, placed my left foot forward and threw the small ball of crumpled up paper with all the strength I had.

'I am yet to graduate from university! Find a job! Get married! Have kids! Live a full fulfilling life! And you are telling me that I have to live inside a game for the rest of my life?! Screw that! F*ck! F*ck! F*ck!' As I thought this, I was angrier than I had ever been.

I took in a deep breath through my nose and closed my eyes.

Holding the air in my lungs for a few seconds, my anger somewhat calmed down, but it was not entirely gone. I breathed out of my mouth and slowly opened my eyes.

'I have to find a way to get out of this game. But as far as I know, the only two ways of getting out of virtual reality is to either log out or get kicked out. Since logging out is clearly not an option, how do I get kicked out?... I can't think of anything… I am sure, I will think of something eventually.'

Letting out another heavy sigh, I tapped on the box in my inventory. It appeared in my right hand and I pulled the string.

The box disappeared from my hand and notification messages started flashing in front of me.

'Looking at the names tight grip, double slash and war stomp, I can already guess what they do and what class tyrant is.' I closed the inventory window by tapping on the x icon on the top-right corner of the window, scrolled up and tapped on the skills button. The skills window opened in front of me and I looked over my three skills.

'Just what I expected from those three.' I closed my skills window and swiped my fingers to the right. And the menu closed. I moved my eyes to one of the boar piglets.

'I need one more boar piglet to complete the quest,' I pulled out my two-handed stick from my back and held it in my left hand as it was my dominant hand and holding it in my left hand gave me 75% critical strike chance from the passive tight grip.

Walking up to the boar piglet, I struck it, and it was an immediate critical strike, >. Boar piglet squealed and it fell down to the ground, dead. It got enveloped in a golden glow which meant that it was lootable, and a few notification messages flashed.

Bending down, I touched the corpse and the loot window opened.

Tapping on the 1 copper coin in the loot window, it got looted and I now had 10 copper coins in total. I straightened out and walked back to the quest giver.

The quest giver that I returned to was an old man standing in front of a house between many farm fields.

"I have killed the ten boars you wanted me to kill."

The old man nodded his head. "Thank you, young adventurer," he said and a few notification messages flashed in front of me.

"Young adventurer, would you mind doing another task?"

I shook my head. "Not at all, what do you need?"
