Chapter 241: Rewards & Exiting the 2nd level
One by one Ji Yuan and his party had entered the portal to the third level of the Empyrean Warrior Labyrinth.
Before they had entered the portal to claim their rewards and to move forward to the next level, Ji Yuan bade everyone good bye first.
"Maybe we won't get to see each other again in the next level." Ji Yuan muttered.
All the maidens were inhaling melancholy and they secretly hoped that they would be able to meet in the same place again.
Little Princess, Ling Feiyue, Bai Qianfeng and Shui Xisi were all hoping that Xiang Li's magic would work once more and that they would be able to meet again on the third level later…
Ling Feiyue was really praying hard silently; please let us be together…

Bai Qianfeng was sighing unhappily; there was no promise that that they would meet again on the third level too. So she was also hoping that they would meet and not be separated.
Shui Xisi totally did not want to be separated from Ji Yuan even though she did not have an official relationship with Ji Yuan. She preferred to hide her love for Ji Yuan in secret from the others. That was why she had entered the Warrior Empyrean Labyrinth on her own and that was with great sadness in her heart. However she was soon delighted when the first person that she had seen inside was actually Ji Yuan…
Feng Minyue had a perplexed look on her face. She was lucky to meet Ji Yuan again on the second level but there was no promise if she could meet him on the third level. Why was she missing him all of a sudden?
She did not want to join his party in the first place…
But now when it was time for her to leave his party, there was a lingering thought and hesitation in her heart.
Is not because of him but because I am a friend of Sisi…
But I am actually not close to Sisi at all before the trial starts…
Ji Yuan also had a reluctant look as he looked at the five maidens but he had no wish to check with Xiang Li if she was about to reunite everyone together again.

The trial voice said to him. "You are the first to complete this trial. Hence, a reward shall be granted to you and it will be a good one."

"You can have a choice of three profound treasures. A heaven-step heavenly relic that can be refined into heaven-step divine sword, a rare celestial herb or a random heaven-step artefact."

Just as Ji Yuan was about to say something, a bright light had banished him away and he soon found himself lying flat on the ground.
His entire body was aching because the instant the saint sword had appeared in his hand, it was also draining and taxing his body as a new divine harmony began to occur at the same time. But luckily, Ji Yuan is a peaked great saint and he could easily wield a saint-step divine sword.
Just as he was shaking off his spinning headache and the aching of his body, he was suddenly aroused by panicky cries.

"We thought that he may not be able to be here…" Ling Feiyue was gasping with joy.
"He is really here…" Feng Minyue was shaking her head with disbelief.
While Ji Yuan was grinning, he was checking his soul sea and was relieved that Xiang Li was clapping her hands inside his soul sea with great delight.
He was secretly pleased.
Xiang Li is still around…
He laughed as he took out the Mirror of Telepathy.
Shui Xisi gave him a jovial kick. "I know that you're handsome but this is not the time to view yourself in the mirror. Do you really care about your image so much?"

Then he activated his Mirror of Telepathy and said. "Wan'Er, are you there? Ji Yuan here. Did you manage to find your way out."
There was a long silence as a sobbing voice began to greet him. "Great Hero Ji, it is really you. I'm alright now and have cleared the maze trial. Now I am on the second level of the trial now. What about you?"
JI Yuan heaved a soft sigh of relief. "I am on the third level of the Warrior Empyrean Labyrinth now. Haha."
Wan'Er said quietly. "You're pretty fast. I can never hope to catch up to you. Please take care and I hope that you can clear more trials. Don't force yourself if it is too hard."
Ji Yuan replied. "I will and take care of yourself too. And good luck."
There was a long pause of silence before Wan'Er said quietly. "I hope you are able to return from here and…I like you."

All five of the maidens were startled as they did not expect that Ji Yuan would receive a declaration of love from Wan'Er.
