Tang Beibei and the man walked the puppies together after dinner. She still hadn’t figured out how to tell him about the competition even after they were done.

“No, I didn’t. 1 didn’t do anything wrong.”

Tang Beibei looked down and saw that she was grabbing the corner of her shirt with both her thumbs. She quickly dropped her hands in guilt, giggled fawningly and hugged him.
Jiang Jingchen was very rational though. He pushed her head away to keep his distance from her.

Tang Beibei looked at him with pleading black eyes.
The courage that she had mustered up earlier had been completely destroyed by his stare. How could she tell him the truth now?
“I’m not trying to be funny. I just can’t stop thinking about you.”

Her voice was so weak that it couldn’t hide the truth at all.

Tang Beibei didn’t say anything after Jiang Jingchen guessed her thoughts. She just blinked at him pleadingly.
“Hubby, I would like to resume dancing.”
“Have you recovered from your injuries?”
“Yes, yes. Look.”
She pulled open her pajamas to let him check her wound. She even clenched her fists and stretched her injured arm.
“See, it doesn’t hurt even when I moved my arm like this. I think I’m okay now.”
Jiang Jingchen poked at her wound to see the woman’s reaction. He pressed on it hard but she didn’t even frown. She was obviously pretending.
She endured the pain so she could resume dance training.
His caressed her cheek and lowered his head to kiss her on the lips.
“You can’t tell anything from just looking at the wound. Obedient Beibei, you need to exercise a few times before you know for sure.”
Tang Beibei felt that the man was like a ferocious beast that would pounce on her in the next second. She retreated in fear, but the man’s large hand grabbed the back of her neck.
Her neck was her erogenous zone. There was no escape for her now.
The man covered her eyes and slowly breathed into her ear. His deep voice was like a siren song, bewitching and dangerous.
“Obedient Beibei, where do you want to run to, huh?”
“I, I never thought about running.”

Tang Beibei gulped. She felt that he was a little unusual tonight. His dark eyes were deep as if they were hiding an ocean. When she looked into his eyes, she felt like she’d be swallowed whole by the ocean.
Before she could reject him again, he pressed his lips against hers and pressed her down on the bed.
The next day, Tang Beibei asked the man again to see if he would let her resume dance training.
The man didn’t object. He just hugged her and kissed her for a long time before he bit her hard on the shoulder, as if to punish her.

When he was sending them to school, the man reminded her about dinner and said that he would pick her up from the dance studio.

After finally convincing Jiang Jingchen, Tang Beibei became more confident and attended classes attentively so she could go to the dance studio with Fu Jin after school.
All the trainees in Fu Jin’s dance troupe were taking part in this competition, so competition would be fierce.
Everyone trained hard at the studio today but Tang Beibei felt that some people’s attitudes towards her had changed.
For example, Xi Tong, who had always been sarcastic to her. She actually pushed Ruan Qi aside and sat next to Tang Beibei during a break.
Tang Beibei’s lips twitched awkwardly when she saw Ruan Qi rolling her eyes.
However, Xi Tong didn’t seem to notice Tang Beibei’s resistance. She said with a smile, “Beibei, you’ve been training hard. Let’s go shopping tonight. I’ll bring you to this restaurant with very unique dishes.”

Tang Beibei thought about the money she would have to spend on groceries if she invited them over for dinner. Besides, they were not that close.
“Beibei, how about we go to your house this weekend? You stay in a villa, right?”
“No, I’m busy this weekend.”
Xi Tong felt that it was a pity, but she still asked with a smile, “How about next week? Or you can pick a time.”
“Um, I’ll let you guys know.” Tang Beibei faked a smile.
Why would she invite someone she wasn’t close with to her house?
To quarrel or to fight?
“Okay, okay. We’ll go to your house another time.” Xi Tong said with a hopeful expression.
Tang Beibei ignored her and continued drinking water.

Ruan Qi squeezed in between the two of them and pushed Chen Xixi away. “We are busy preparing for the competition these few days. We need to go home together. If she goes to dinner with you, I’ll have to wait for her. It’ll be a waste of my time.”
“Then, both of you come together.” Chen Xixi added.
Ruan Qi sneered. This woman was pretending not to understand her rejection.
“No, thanks. I’m in a hurry to see my boyfriend. Bye!”
Without waiting for Chen Xixi to say anything else, Ruan Qi pulled Tang Beibei out. She didn’t expect her to understand the ways of the world.
It was obvious that those women were up to no good. Ruan Qi pulled a long face and lectured Tang Beibei, “The last time your husband was here, they all thought that he’s very handsome and want to snatch him away from you! You’d better be careful. Don’t get too close to them.”
Tang Beibei frowned angrily.
She could tolerate many things but not when people coveted her husband!
